I have a suggestion for this tutorial series, you should have one match at the end of the video where you use the fighter you talked about, that way we can see these tips in action
I liked it before when he'd do a guide for the character, followed by him playing the character against another good player to show it off. I guess he hasn't had anyone around that's good enough for a showcase like that? Too bad though, it definitely tied together his earlier guides.
CalamityGlows Cloud's speed is really good in this game, the engine changes have treated him really well. But yeah, they trashed Nair on top of all the other nerfs to his kit. They really should've left that one alone cause it doesn't even cover his own hurtbox underneath him anymore.
A reminder that we can now play as Sonic The Hedgehog, Solid Snake, Mega Man, PAC-MAN, Ryu, Ken Masters, Cloud Strife, Bayonetta, Simon and Richter Belmont and Ren Amamiya all in the same game. We've reached the point where we could make a match at the 8-player max and the only thing Nintendo-related would be the UI and a Smash Ball. How far we've come...
Donald Trump Who’s listing him high tier? All I’m seeing is mid tier. M2K himself said he doesn’t think cloud is very good anymore and placed him mid tier.
I like that you show examples in the corner of the screen. Like I've seen alot of vids where people seem to forget that they can put examples in in post, so you don't get quite as good of an idea of what they're talking about. It's a simple thing, but it's pretty helpful.
How to play Cloud: Step 1 - Go to a corner and charge your limit. Step 2 - up air aggressively to intimidate your opponents Step 3 - dash back and forth to intimidate them again. Step 4 - wait for them to come near you and pray that your limit break hits them and breaks their shield.
Blade beam deserves even more credit. Love using it on those Ridly dash attk spammers...completely shuts their game down. Also a great for edge protecting considering range, if timed right you can get them before getting under the the stage for that safer recovery
Hey man, I love all of your smash videos like this. I mained cloud for a bit but stopped recently because I couldn't get a good grip on his neutral, hopefully this will help. :) For your next one, would you consider doing R.O.B? I've mained both R.O.B and cloud throughout my time with ultimate, and i'd love it if I could see some tips for him, because I haven't seen any online as far as i've looked. Only commenting this ahead of me watching the video so I have a slightly smaller chance of being seen in the horde of comments to come, but can't wait to watch :) Thanks for reading and have a great day dude
Raeid Raunak if you can time it good enough, lucina’s fast fall nair 1 can consistently combo into foward smash. cant say much for marth because his tipper sends them too far away. also both marth AND lucina can do things like down throw back air or up air and uptilt to uptilt to upair at rly low percents. lucina can also combo fast fall nair into another fast fall nair into a fair just like chrom.
Ssb seems to be a game that’s easy to pick up very freakin hard to master. As someone having trouble getting past the initial pick up and play skill level I really appreciate this guide.
This was actually really useful. I personally don't like using clouds n-air due to the range of it being lackluster compared to up air and f-air. One thing I'm surprised you didn't touch on was using the up special as a combo finisher out of an up throw or down throw.
Make a how to play Bayonetta cos after the nerfs I have no idea how to kill without relying on Bair at 130% or Fthrow at 180% cos Up air send at an angle so even if you manage to ladder someone after the nerfs directly and indirectly through the engine at 150% and seeing them fly off at an angle is like wtf Edit: plus, looks like what’s broken about her is her bones when she lands cos that landing lag bruh .-.
you want to be in the air as much as possible, because landing lag is ass & ground game is worse, & you want to combo out to the side for stage control, & kill off the side if possible, because it's the only good thing you've got left outside of air game , also try to cross up the opponent whenever you can in neutral, ig, hope some of that helps
Broadbull, Enabler of Uncounted Combos thanks for the help, sucks that bayo sucks tbh, yeah I wanted her to be nerfed but like Nintendo, wtf, could no one see that the nerfs to Bayo, DD, Sheik (and kinda SSZ) were too much, i’d rather be able to play my main instead of waiting for months to get “small buffs to gradually bring up to power” ._.
Neon TNG it’s literally the most trash strategy you can use when playing cloud. Camp limit > miss limit > Camp limit > miss limit > Camp limit > Get timed out because you took 0 stocks and they poked you for more dmg than you poked them
Still tripping out when people got booty tickled by Zero saying he was the best smash 4 player in the world. He placed top in all his matches and you are here watching his videos so why you crying?
Is it really such a mystery to you why people get annoyed by self fellating? Like, I don't think it's any mystery why people get annoyed by it, whether it's true or not.
@@zipzzo well it's his channel, he is showing competitive strategies, he is in a competitive scene. In any competitive sports people carry around medals or belts like in boxing, ufc, and wwe.
@@miguelc2164 2 things. 1: good counter. 2: I'd have to agree. Humans are such strange beings. Going around to meme on people on youtube when they could ya know... Be playing cloud in smash ultimate? It doesn't make sense to get angry at someone for stating things they can prove with their statistics. It's not like he mooned everyone mid stream or anything of that sort.
Hey man those are really good videos. I took a break right after brawl and started playing ultimate. Been thinking about maining cloud, this is exactly the content I needed. Keep up the good work 👍
Gerardo Ponce let’s hear??? Cloud guides?? I don’t see any other youtubers putting their controller buttons on bottom of screen so I can see what they press at exact time
You can kill lightweight fighters at 45 and heavyweight at 75 as cloud Edit: you can pull a crom and press b twice and kill them like that if done properly you can meteor them if you land the hit when you are on stage at the edge and opponent of stage it will result in you being at the edge and a meteor kill also as cloud Inkling upthrow to unpair at the top platform will kill at 105 middle platform at 110 and 120 at the flor 120 is possible but not in battlefield but in final destination 121 will work at battlefield for more consistent % 125 is also an alternative Corrine can do this combo to but it works at earlier % at top platform 90 middle platform 100 I don’t remember it 100% at the time and Flor at 110 Meta knight side b can kill if close to the edge at 70 but it is risky butt if done correctly can survive the free fall but if you miss your ded And he can go under the stage for mixups of surviving edge traps and showing of. And big chungus is coming to smash (Last part is a joke and I did the testing at version 1,2,1 any later version might make this information irrelevant so don’t come to me and complain butt reply other knowledge that you may have but I’m not forcing you and correct any mistakes that I wrote down in the information not spellchecking.) Please spread the knowledge and don’t say that you found this out if you are ctrl c ctrl v this comment. Instead credit the source material How I found this out is by testing in training mode In super smash bros. Ultimate In the games and more section And you can conduct your one testing in smash bros and reply to this comment making it so that more knowledge is spread. Please confirm your knowledge in training mode first and type what version it is you tested on. For more accuracy. I hope the knowledge helps
YES!!! I’ve been waiting for you to drop this guide! FF7 is my favorite game of all time, so when everyone was complaining about his nerfs, I knew I needed to play him lol
I'm pretty meh at Smash, but watching your tourney matches really helped with how I play Cloud. I really like to cheese my opponents with down tilt if they try to juggle me
@@jesuspereznunez3407 My main's GSP is about 45,000. The characters with the highest GSP are the ones I've never played. And if you didn't speak a language just sitting there making random noises isn't going to help you speak it. If I don't know how to play then playing online isn't going to teach me anything
Babydaisylover Based on your reaction to Jesus I immediately can tell that the reason you can’t improve at this game is because you don’t actually want to get better at the game. You seem like the type of person who would do the same thing every game over and over, wondering why you can’t improve.
Awesome video! A technical question that's probably better somewhere else: how did you manage to capture your controller input as well as use it with the switch?
One of my favorote things to do is use limit Climhazzard to kill them off the top when they're at 150% or so. Just to style on them with a non kill move.
I voted in Cloud and never played him much in Smash 4, just because I thought his weakness offstage wasn't for me. Now that I'm more experienced I'm not worried about that and I'm more than happy to play as him in this new game. Thanks for the info!
Really interesting. I play cloud's neutral a bit different. I like to mix it up with his slide attack which you can often catch players off guard and combo with up tilt or side tilt
