Thanks Bryan. It is paying attention to details like this that has helped noticeably improve my game over the last couple of months. Going from easiest shot to easiest shot until you hit a roadblock doesn't win games. This kind of thinking does. Another great video!

This video was great. My problem is sinking shots. I miss to much. I played a guy the other day who made just about every cut shot he tried where as I missed so critical cuts. Aggravating to no end.

You may be in need of some coaching. There could be an issue with your stroke.

As I watched the que ball you drew it back a bit. Is that Stun?
@FXBilliards
@FXBilliards 19 дней назад
If it moves backwards it is a DrawShot, if it moves along the tangent line, then it is a stun shot. Thanks for watching. I hope your subscribing.

Love your videos! Got a question in regards to which cue you prefer to play with.. I'm thinking of buying either a Predator Ikon 4-5 or a Predator P3 both would be equipped with a Revo 12.4.. which would you chose between them and why? There is no place to test the cues where I live, so I will need to buy them online.. Thanks!
@FXBilliards
@FXBilliards 12 дней назад
I would go with the ikon. They are beautiful and most players won’t notice any difference and play.
@Jordan_Torres
@Jordan_Torres 14 дней назад
Do you ever feel like a 58in cue is too short for you? You’ve never liked it with the 3in extension on it all the time?
@FXBilliards
@FXBilliards 13 дней назад
An extension would not make sense to me. I’ve been shooting way too long with a standard cue length. 3 inches would lead to hundreds of ball fouls for me. Without any added benefit
@danathomas7870
@danathomas7870 19 дней назад
Do you ever change your key ball? The table when you make the 12 off of the 9. Left your 9 to the corner pocket but the 15 was your first key ball. Would you have played the 15 then the 9 to the corner and 8 in the side???? Or 15 , 9 , 8. ?
@FXBilliards
@FXBilliards 19 дней назад
Without me going back and reviewing the video, I will answer your question to the best of my ability. After every shot, even if you get the position you want, you should be looking to see if you should change your strategy - approach each as if you just walked up to the table after your opponent missed and you need to plan out your next three shots
@danathomas7870
@danathomas7870 19 дней назад
@@FXBilliards ok that answers my question. Because when I watched the shot I would have changed my key ball…. I wanted to validate my decision.

Any wisdom on not how, but when clusters should be broken up. Of course, clusters with only my suit, ASAP. But what about clusters with my suit and my opponent’s suit? Or mine and the 8? I suppose the rule of thumb would be leave it alone unless I can run out. If I can’t run out I have just broken out my opponent’s ball (or the 8 for him/her). Would you agree?
@FXBilliards
@FXBilliards 19 дней назад
Any clusters that involve your balls need to be broken up - you can’t run out, you can’t win. You can’t do anything if your balls are cluster. That whole idea of not taking balls off unless you can run out is ancient and incorrect - amateur players have no idea whether or not they can run out very often. They think they can run out and they can’t or they can’t run out because they did not clear clusters. I love when my opponents don’t break up clusters involving their balls and mine. It means I own them. And the ball is my ball!
@danathomas7870
@danathomas7870 19 дней назад
The term. “ stun” is that the same as stop? Or something else?
@FXBilliards
@FXBilliards 19 дней назад
A stun shot is a stop shot usually with a slight angle or sometimes a great angle. You hit with the exact same amount of pace and backspin as a stop shot, but the ball continues to move because you’re not hitting 100% of the object ball.

When I make a shot and someone says good shot. I say only if I have another if not then I'm screwed.
@danathomas7870
@danathomas7870 13 дней назад
I have a question, I had a shot where my 2 ball was on the rail before the middle pocket and hooked on the tit. I just tried to run it down but obviously it didn’t go, was that my only option?
@FXBilliards
@FXBilliards 12 дней назад
If you can’t bank it from where you are, there are no other options.
