@@Chanchan-hf4px if you and your enemy has 0 ping you would not die behind a wall so if your enemy has 60 ping and he shoots you before you move behind a wall you will die behind the wall its just an annoyance for you
@@suchy8150 Nah but for real. It was the only map me and my best mate played. He literally hasn't launched CS2 since 2023 because they haven't added it back. =(
Boring as fuuuack. Back in css we played scoutknifez + rpg mode. 1vs1 duell in ct spawn. Best times having fun + gain skill with it. Csgo was already a dead community
@@DaisiesTC idk where you are from, but here in India, I made a ton of Steam friends by just playing FS. It is soooo fun. You see people having insane no scope ability, insane reflexes, movement skills and casual banter. I miss CS:GO
Team FORTESS 2 = whole game exist and still supported. Recently fixed the bot issues CS2 = 30% of CSGO and full off issues, barely getting any updates Pick one
Playing TF2 kinda feels like this right now. You could have said this video was just Team Fortress 2 with a lot of mods and I would have believed it. It is so unreal dying behind cover and in nonsensical circumstances, and the player deaths in this video can frequently be described as this: "Just shoot where they were standing a second ago, and it counts." Valve, why?
its ironic that Valve turned to the competitive community for advice on their CASUAL game and we got a horrible update that changed the course of the game(Meet your Match), but now with a COMPETITIVE game like CS2 they won't acknowledge anything said from the competitive community.
TF2 came out in 2007. People didn't have nearly the Internet speeds of people have nowadays, hence all the interpolation and shit that allows spies to face stab you. All of that is meant to compensate for shitty 2007 internet. The difference is this game came out TODAY where most people's Internet is perfectly capable of very high tick rates and low latency. I would love an update to TF2s net code, but with how CS2 is going... I think I'll just take what we have.
Don't even have to look at that, you can look at other games that have used kernel level anti-cheats in the past. Genshin Impact had ransomware hijack their kernel anti-cheat and infest thousands of peoples computers. Apex Legends had an actual tournament where someone was able to piggyback off the anti-cheat to take control of multiple players systems and install cheats on them. At a live tournament. Lmfao. And that's not to mention the fact nobody really knows how effective Valorant's anti-cheat really is since there's no replay system. It's definitely better than CS2, that's a given. Rage hackers are rare. But it's pretty much impossible to gauge how many people are walling, soft-locking, or using trigger bots without a replay system. And Valorant definitely still has a cheater problem regardless of what anyone says. It being not as bad doesn't mean its still not bad. Just look up Unity Research's video on the topic for more info.
Honestly I have only ever played demolition for the missions during operations, but I respect that that gamemode was your jam. I don't understand why previously existing content wasn't included, my favorite map by far was cache and now it is gone.
@@Noistisix to play against bots? They removed the community server feature too, not only that, you can't even invite your friends to your lobby to play customs.. truly a disaster.
this game is so canonically underdeveloped for a game company like valve that cheaters can literally just fly across the map thanks to their new reworked movement system
i honestly think that surprise updates are a very good thing, cause once you expect something and then it's meh, you are let down, while an update without a teaser or something is a nice surprise (wish there were more of those surprises rather than vertigo pixel gap fixes as a whole update)
When you dedicate 4500 hours of your life playing a videogame and they make a sequel that's worse than the original, man it sucks Also I want cache back
In CSGO when i got killed i blame my own skills In CS2 i got so tilted being killed because on my screen they can dink me 2 time while not even fully counter-strafe. i hate how dying behind wall became a norm to me
My experience with Counter-Strike: I have a very very old shitty laptop. I tried to get CS:GO to run on it twice. Both times the lag was higher than snoop dogg on a weekend. My solution? Buy Counter-Strike Source because it runs well on my laptop. I play with my friend who has similar problems. We both suck ass at the game. Still we play. He recently got a better PC so he plays CS2 now. Since we both suck ass, he just loses every time I watch him stream it on discord. I felt jealous he got to play cs2 at first, but now I don't think it's such a big thing to be sad over. Sure, I'll sill play cs2 when I eventually save enough money for a good PC, but all these problems just make me sad. Either way I have no idea where the fuck I was going with this comment to begin with. And since I've already typed it all out I guess I'll just post it
You could use nvidia geforce now to play it via the cloud, if your really want to play with your friend now and for cheaper than buying a new pc. But where is the fun in that
@@Noistisix Guess what? I actually tried that once for another game. Just my luck that it isn't available in my country. Even if it was, I know 100% the input lag would be nearly unbearable. 3rd world wifi is just not really good for this kind of stuff. Thanks either way for caring :)
@@faloodaman Im in west europe and cloud gaming is shit. I think cs source or a custom csgo server would be fine. I have heard of some csgo revival servers but as you said your pc couldnt run it..?
in addition to everything said in the video, i, as an owner of a low end pc, must say that they have absolutely killed the game's optimization during the year that it has existed. without adding almost any new content. that's... crazy to say the least
The last update bumped me from 100 fps at low settings with no fsr, to 233 fps (avg) with 110 fps 10% lows and 80 1% lows at high/medium settings with fsr set to quality. Before that, my 1% lows were at 33 fps. The reason I turned FSR on, was because earlier it did literally nothing for me, and now, for some unknown reason, it actually makes a difference, and I can turn anti-aliasing on. :) I'm happy. NOTE: this might have been a fedora linux or proton update, not CS, so take it with a grain of salt.
Counter strike 2 made me quit Counter Strike in general tbh i tried it for like 3 mins on matchmaking and 8 mins on the movement without bots This a real good vid matt
Which is why i only tried cs2 once in release and abandoned it. All they had to do was literally just make the anticheat more effective and make servers 128 tick.
"Any other game dev team would have killed to have game like this" Exactly Like all these AAA studios release a live service game yearly hoping one of them survive. The emphasis is on SURVIVE not going viral They have the biggest IPs in the world and literally do not care
It's been almost a year now since the game released. I genuinely thought they had all the cut content ready to be slowly added to the game. Instead they've just been trying to fix their mess and added like 2 maps + sticker update. What a shitshow
Don't forget to fix freezing in older systems that can run the game just fine at 60 fps. (Seriously please help me how do i fix this without getting a new pc)
Valve after 2018 compared to 2014 is like all star batman and robin version of batman compared to the justice league batman Just because they think making it edgy and uncaring sounds cool, doesn't mean it is cool, it just makes it sociopathic and greedy
You made this video at a bad time, it turns out. I didn't think it was possible, but they actually made it worse. They updated the game so that now, on top of the cheating issues and lack of gamemodes, you can get kicked for jigglepeeking. They did this to counter people who bought keyboards with machine micros to automatically counterstrafe or something like that, but overtuned it way too much and now it'll just nuke legits who are even half decent at jigglepeeking. So, in just one match, you can choose from less maps and gamemodes than were available in CS:GO, encounter a spinbotting cheater, have that cheater not get kicked, and then yourself get kicked because the system caught you jigglepeeking and decided you were using a hardware macro to do that.
while CS2 has a bajillion problems, I feel like the new buy menu is the least discussed one. Did it need an upgrade from the wheel designed for xbox? sure. Does it need to look like Valorant? no. Does it need to artificially limit the amount of weapons you have so that off-meta guns are never used? no. Let me have every single gun available, not just the ones that are best in most situations. Sawed-off can be useful, negev is a fun meme gun, m249 is a funnier meme gun. But instead, we get this garbage because "muh valorant ui"
Before CS2 i thought valve leaving for milk would mean they would come back with gold bars and it would be a happy ever after. Instead we are lost the drops of milk we had left. To this day i dont understand how valve had the mental capacity to remove a game from the market
Me and my friends stopped playing CS, and switched to OW2 and R6S. Even though Blizzard and Ubisoft aren't the pinnacle of game development, at least they don't ghost their community like Valve does.
Unless valve is punished monetarily, nothing changes. I’ve loved this company for 12 years already, and they really made my life more fun. But it’s not the same company that made fun and innovative games anymore. I don’t get why the younger people defend it.
Valve did learn from OW2 tho. Instead of releasing on a different plattform without reviews on the first game they just replaced CSGO with this cheap copy. So all reviews stay positive and the game doesnt tank as much. Hope they make something out of CS2.
Find the difference between Overwatch 2 with CS2. There are the same disasters. Then why one hated with no mercy while the other still given the chance?
The central issue has been omitted from what is otherwise a quite thorough and well-presented video. CSS2 is not the game I or many others paid for. We did not opt in to this artistically bankrupt and mechanically-flawed, and unoptimised beta; and should not be forced to suffer it. I want to play CSGO, and not whatever this is.
There's no inherent reason (afaik) why subtick should be subpart to 128 ticks. 64 ticks is already plenty. Apart from the issues that were fixed past launch, I'd wager all the other issues have little to do with it. Like Valve choosing different tradeoffs to network latency compared to the previous game. If I had to choose between other companies yapping all day and doing nothing and Valve being dead silent and working on fixing the problems the right way I'd take the later any day. In the end with CS2 being a total rewrite there were always going to be complaints. I just wish they would put a few more resources to the task \o/
My headcanon is that the spinny snipers from tf2 all just heard there was a new valve game with 2 in it and decided to migrate there over the course of a year or so. (No i don't mean cheaters, I just mean people who practiced the ancient art of instantly shooting people in the head while looking like a beyblade)
