@@brandonholloway8594i know, the situation is just funny though, with all the community cards being same suit anyone could have had a flush with that hand, I was mainly laughing at the idea itself, and also the confidence to decide how you are betting. Its really a fascinating game that I appreciate.
@@brandonholloway8594he didn't had flush when he said that :P it goes with the idea "When I have pp of 2, I have to win" he wasnt even thinking of a club being a good out for him xP
No way. If he's bad enough to bet a low flush he's bad enough to call it down without thinking. Any non brain dead person with a mid range flush aims to reach the showdown where their hand had lots of value. Betting and getting raised is terrible. Dude had an ace no club. No chance he has a club.
Absolutely wrong You don't win with hands, you win by making the enemy chicken out. The moment people notice your strat, you're fked. Only fools play any hand You wanna be consistent? Only play Js and up, _maybe a 10 occasionally;_ play tighter than a virgins ahole, fold 80% of your hands pre
I think he had a weak ace, maybe ace jack or something. He raised preflop but not enough to scare anyone away, and he called because he felt like he had the best hand after the flop. He considered you might have been bluffing a club but decided you had it.
@@schalkeitalien8227A successful bluff is generally a good thing in poker, yes. He could have just folded like most people would but you lose every time you fold
His range is A-high card, pocket pair, maybe he hit something on the flop. I don't think he had a flush, unless he misplayed it. He raised after the straddle, indicating he had something strong. Snap calls after the bet, probably paired his ace or had the flush draw. Bets on the turn, but gets check raised. He could've hit the flush but with a medium card. Not the king, otherwise that's a call, queen is on the board so that's blocked, not a jack. 9 and 10 are on the bottom of the flush range, but possible. A-8, maybe. He got scared because of all the possibilities. Casino King's range is much wider as the aggressor. Didn't broadcast that he had 2-2, just that he had something strong. Because he played straddle, he got position early and still called. Even after the flush board, showed strength. He threw in a solver-sized bet, which is nice on a flush board. Doesn't get raised, nice to see the turn. That puts him also at a pocket pair, paired on the board, flush or flush draw. The turn gives him the flush (the anti-nut, but still a flush). Good call to set the trap. Check-raises. There's only one way to win that, which is to trap. So check-raising pushes him out especially since his range of hands is wider than the other guy's. He might've bet the turn because he wanted to tax to see the next card, and test to see Casino King's hand strength. Raising put you on a high club, and with triple the bet size and a river still on its way it could be expensive for him. However, if he did hit a flush, it's still worth seeing. He would've had showdown value. So, I don't think he had a flush. He must've just had an A and a high card, tried to be aggressive and didn't pursue it after the 5 clubs. Too many ways for him to lose in showdown.
Most important advice in poker: in most hands, it doesn't come down to what hand you have; it comes down to what hand your opponent has, and what hand they think think you have. Always be aware of what your actions are telling your opponents, particularly when it comes to both the amount of time you spend deliberating, and the amount you ultimately bet. Always act in a manner which encourages your opponents to be certain you have a hand other than what you actually have, and you will only be bested by someone who can do the same to you more effectively. When you have the best hand at the table, play as if you're afraid of someone else having it. When you have a trash hand, either force them to call your bluff as soon as possible, or fold their own trash hands. Pro-level play doesn't truly begin until you're at least two levels deep
This video reminds me of commetary during day 2 of the wsop this year. In the commentary at the feature table they announce all the poker vloggers had been eliminated and joke that obviously poker players fovusing on their go pro arent very good. But now watching this....maybe its no joke.
he did hit a flush, but it was literally the weakest one available. Anyone on the table with another card of clubs would beat his flush, judging by the amount of people there, chances might be against him rather than for him
