@@Mortlerickle123 most of the times her chords and style are original and she came up with the chords in Lana del Rey’s songs (I mentioned Lana cause I’ve checked out those videos the most) herself right after the albums came out. You don’t have to be so disrespectful anyways she’s still putting effort into it seeing videos is so much easier than reading note sheets

i’m actually a burnt out ex art student. singing and playing was my passion until the art school i attended did nothing but make me hate singing and playing. i left the school and locked it away with my passion. for a long time i felt like i was a waste of talent and that i was a disappointment to parents. my family’s favorite song that they loved to hear me sing is creep...but i never learned it on the piano. i’m planning to learn and perform it just for them on our next family reunion. thank you for making this video. beautiful is an understatement.

I've sent so many guitar and piano tutorials, the performers do a hit and miss version of the chords and sing them very badly so I was taking aback by how beautiful your voice is. It's not only a good tutorial, it's also a really touching rendition of this painfully beautiful song.
MuseChick No problem. I've since watched your introductory video. I like your styling very much. :) I had a thought on music theory. You're bombarded with requests, so it's just thought. Your singing made me think of how to write vocal melodies which harmonise well with the basic chords. A similar question comes up for guitarists trying to learn how to solo. It would be interesting to hear comments on accompaniment and lead lines. Just thought. :)

This version sounds fantastic and it is easy to play! One question: are you avoiding using inversions to make the tutorial easier to follow or because it just sounds nice? Would it make sense to try and make the chords closer by inverting some?
