Did not know Deadshot was also skilled at hand to hand combat too. DC really loves their soliders who shoot good archetype. Know Breaking Character is well and truely burried, but would haven been cool to see all your snipers/archers battle/role play it out in a field that lets them use like heights and cover. Crossbow Expert does kind of cover it, but would be cool if Kensei could Flurry of Blows with their Kensei weapons. Honestly surprised there isn't a ranged or thrown weapon focused subclasses.
Well there's the unofficial subclass Gunslinger for fighters from CR, playing one in my current campaign and its a hell of a lot of fun, especially with the trick shots
@@zarkthepirate Oh, I meant there isn't a subclass like that for the Monk. Though technically besides Fighter, none of the other classes have a ranged themed subclass either.
It's gone back and forth. he used to be a garbage hand to hand fighter ( Unamed Goon level bad) which I'd argue is the more interesting version, but it is what it is.
I wish monk and rogue were more powerful because the combo of catching a projectile and throwing it at an enemy, and triggering sneak attack again would be sick (Edit) Don't get me wrong I love both of the classes I just tend to play at power gamer tables... that's my friends for you
Still pulling for Eglentine Price (Bednobs and Broomsticks), Mary Poppins, Councilor Troi (ST: tNG), Winifred Sanderson (Hocus Pocus), Sir Dragonet, King Arthur's jester (lddylls of the King/le Morte d'arthur), Prince Voltron (Flash Gordon) and the Reverend Doctor Syn (The Scarecrow of Romney Marsh).
Champion Kensei Assassin...that combination of names alone makes this sound awesome. BTW, Tulok...remember when I said I redid your Unicorn build using my homebrew for Pokémon in D&D to make her a Galarian Rapidash? I'm curious to try the same thing with one of your past Pokémon builds to see how it would compare. Got a preference on which one I should start with?
Nice build, good work. I was wondering, when you get back from vacation do you could you build The Spot from Across The Spider-Verse? I'd really like to see how to tackle it.
Can you build Red goblin next (Is green goblin with the carnage symbiote) I think that his build would be tiefling (Beacuse of his new look) artificer armorer of the fire lineage with the feat flames of phlegethos to be always in fire. And his fire slider could be the boots of flying with ashardalon's stride spell active to make a trail of fire
I second this. I think the realistic cap stone for BG3 is 12, not 20, and some of the abilities work differently than they do in actual 5e, so it'd be interesting to see how he'd tinker with that.
If batarangs are boomerangs, does that mean Captain Boomerang can use them with similar efficiency? (Not saying "as good as Batman" because nobody beats Bruce M. S. Wayne, but as good as a normal boomerang in cpt Boomerang's hands.)
@Tulok - I know you have done Echo Knight builds, but can't remember if you actually did a Parent Trap Build. Now, I want that. Add in Illusion school magic, cause @Jocat's Crap Guide to D&D Wizard Illusion lines are fire: AND I-LLU-SION visual tricks to prank the brain with fear and silence blur and go invisible pretend you're someone else's dad disguise, mislead take on their life Love your content Tulok!
Dude you should totally do one of these for Baldur's Gate 3 now that is out It would definitely help you get more views and more attention to regular dnd
Need a ricochet bulled, impossible distance snipe, or just your regular handgun shot? You have come to the right build! I can tell that hit true the eye of Sir Tulok to achieve the Tangle the lemur build is a hard task, and this assassin will show all that not even metahumans can outsmart bullet (unless they are immune, but that is cheating) From a messed-up family where mother asked the son to kill the father, Floyd Lawton made his task to help his brother in jail, but tragedy would make so a missed shot kill said brother, scarring the young that would make the “Never miss a shot” creed a part of his life forever, to be the best killer there is.
You know, this reminds me- Does it bother anyone else that Young Justice and the DCAMU movies use the exact same art style? It's weird to see the DCAMU's Vandal Savage go down like a chump when he looks identical to the Big Bad of Young Justice.
Huh. I wouldve gone gloomstalker for the archery fighting style instead of fighter, though i may have taken fighter for unarmed fighting to boost from the monk die. I also considered battlemaster instead of champion for precision attack. Advantage and critting on a 19 is probably better than +1d8 though, so fair play
I'm gonna attempt to guess how you do this build before watching it: Elf/Half-Elf (for Elven Accuracy later) Sharpshooter 1 level in Fighter for the Archery Fighting Style 2 levels in Grave Cleric All the rest in Assassin Rogue
I know one piece characters are kinda weird to build but some cool ones would be law or kid and maybe gear 5 Luffy love the builds can’t wait to c more thank you for making building character super fun
nah but i need to understand why you did almost every suicide squad member except for the one that (if we cutting yall A LOTTA slack) most accurately depicts america. someone who seems like a macho racist meathug at first but tho misguided can be kinda deep. still a destructive force haunted by its inhumanly racist roots but is desperately running from that and ironically becoming it. total vengence or oathbreaker build with maybe ranger? vigilante would totally be the rogue/monk/fighter sweating powergamer build but unironically good
George Floyd been real quiet since this dropped. Edit: Dumped Charisma, Custom Lineage, AND calligraphy? All we need is a dumb True Strike joke and you've pretty much got the "Tulok the Barbrarian" Starter Pack.
