02:21 when you see this coming, put your hands up at the elbow and use your body and close the entire gap between the offensive player. This avoids the foul and continues to be invasive. As a defensive player myself, this video has some of the best examples I've seen on the topic.

Nah bro ive been hooping for years but ive been tall and lanky dude this man just made me a lockdown defender i went in the with the arms distance and locked up everybody😭 I have bad reaction timing so i dont play good with my hands out that one arm tip literally made me block like 6 jumpshots and lock up everybody

I wish I was taught how to handle physical contact in basketball and nothing else. I became afraid of playing basketball because regardless if I had the ball or was defending I was whisled for physical contact and never knew why. Soccer is easier becasue you can make more pyshical contact to certain limit. The downside of Soccer is that the only times I played was just kicking the ball around like little kids do.

size 6 basketballs are only used for U14 players. Otherwise it is a regular size 7, it doesn’t depend on hand length
