very high production quality. Thanks a bunch. absolutely love your videos. Right amount of humour (which is actually fun), and especially very concise and clear. Thanks
As much as I enjoy this game (I even bought Rebellion), it has a very serious problem with how it explains the card and die face effects. For the most part, the language of the little pictograms makes sense, like how a + means "gain this and this", or ? means "choose to gain one of these". But especially with some powers in this expansion, the pictograms are inconsistent and poorly explained in the rulebook. For example, the scepter doesn't clearly show that the shards you get with it don't actually get added to your supply, or the skeleton seems to imply that you can buy any glory point face from the temple, not just the cheapest one available. The die face upgrading mechanic also doesn't address how you should treat the sun and moon shard tokens on your starting dice. Since these same faces can be bought at the temple, do you treat them like level 1 and 2 faces, or level 0? And that's just the tip of the iceberg in terms of my complaints about this game's iconography and rulebook. Eg. I hate how the game defines minor and major blessing exactly once, buried away under a ton of random images and text on the setup guide, and then never makes an attempt to remind players ever again. Just say "whenever you roll 1 or 2 dice", sheesh! I shouldn't need to search for videos like this one because I can't tell what exactly a card does and I don't understand what the rulebook is saying.
Another great video. How did you animate the celestial die? Stop motion I guess, but even so, how did you make sure it was so smooth? I'm curious and very jealous. :)
Thanx for the video. The omnicient card doesn't get you 2vp for every vp symbol you have on your die in general or if you roled the die that turn and that symbol appears? Also we didnt get the Eternal fire card,by a whole new turn does it mean to play my reinforcement cards again?Seems like thats the way to play it but if so,that makes it ,in my opinion the most op card .
The base game and expansion looks really fun, however, the terminology used in the game looks extremely confusing to both me and if I were to show new players like family and friends.
The omniscient doesn’t work like you said, instead it counts every card that has been forged to the die, not just the ones you rolled on the turn you buy it. Therefore its possible to gain more than 4vp
You're right. The rulebook could have been clearer! You look at all 6 faces on each die, and anything showing a vp symbol gets you 2 points. i'll add a card to clarify. Thanks!
