I listened again to the record and watched a couple of live performances. The intro notes are not slid into, they do full bends. Just for accuracy, if you want to play this on electric guitar. On acoustic, those bends would be indeed problematic/difficult to execute, but on electric they bring a different feel so it sounds better to do it like the original.

Yea. It's from 1972 (probably a reissue). Specifically, it's a Fender Classic Series '72 Telecaster Deluxe.

End riff.. Third fret barr G chord. Middle finger note... twice. Fourth fret to open. Bend fourth fret next. Then unbent, same fret. To second fret. Then, pull-off 4-2-0. Same string. End on A chord.

Sorry after hitting G chord.. Need to switch middle finger to your ring finger. Index plays the 2nd fret note. Pull-off is obviously 4th-2nd to open.😁🤔

Great video, lots of information very well laid out. The only suggestion I have is to not slide into and out of the chords when you are teaching. (unless its part of the riff) Example: @ at about 1:42 you are demonstrating the chord shapes and you are sliding into and out of them leaving the viewer saying to themselves "Wait....what?" and then rewinding. It is distracting to the lesson.

I think the pre-chorus is wrong here ("it's like your always stuck in second gear" bit) - I always thought it was G/D/A/A, G/D/A/E - so it goes to A before it resolves to E before the chorus. Also, dude has missed a whole middle 8 section which is one of the best parts of the song, which is like Dsus2 x 2, F#m x2, Bm x2, G-D-E, F#,D,E thing.

Right notes on the main riff but wrong execution. Missing the slide up or bend on the last note. My ear hates it and screams “wrong” every time it’s done. Still, great production on the lesson.. Edit... watched more. No one would play it this way.

go practice and learn some more and listen to the song on repeat. The strumming pattern will naturally come to you. Trust me that's the best feeling in the world.
