Long requested HTP on the FV215b. This tank is great but certainly has its own unique play-style. Generally speaking it’s not a great frontline heavy, which I tried to demonstrate through the live gameplay today. Hopefully you’ll learn a thing or two on how to think while playing this vehicle 💪

@@h.p.734 E5 is more popular and generally speaking a better comp tank, but the Fv has its uses. However, 90% of the time the E5 will be used

@Neurogamer FV does have better mobility especially with engine boost. Chieftain is one of my favorite heavies so I would definitely recommend it. The gun is unbeatable for a heavy.

I remember thinking that the 215b was powercrept and a bad tank before I had it... boy was I wrong. I got it and it’s probably my fav t10 heavy lol. I use reactive armor instead of adrenaline for when I get agressive. Would you say adrenaline is better or would you say they’re about even for the 215b?

Both are quite viable, but since I generally use this tank as a raw DPM heavy instead of a pushing heavy, I chose adrenaline. Both are great, and I tan reactive for a long time tbh.

Don't you think the calibrated are better? Reload goes to 8 sec but you have more pen with your HE. I'm not as pro as you but I'm using HE pretty often so IMO it's good to use calibrated.

Like I said at the start, this is just why works with how I play the vehicle. Calibration is good, but most mediums you can pen with HESH, for example, don’t need calibration anyways. I prefer the raw DPM boost for me. Calibration is definitely a good option as well. :)

FV215b definitely is unusual in terms of heavy tank gameplay. Sometimes the best thing you can do is experiment with different play styles until you find one that suites the tank. Good luck with your future games with the FV :)

The 215b is a glaring paradox of a tank. It’s rear turreted, yet it’s not a good sidescraper. It’s only got 7 degrees of gun depression, yet it’s amazing hull down. It’s top speed is only 34 kilometers per hour, yet it’s excellent at running with mediums. I love it though

Yep that is my style in the tank, but it’s unique to each situation. You’ll notice I didn’t ever engage the heavies in frontal engagements. I always went for an angle on them. I based my decisions on the map/lineup of both teams, which is the thing i wanted people to remember the most from this vid :)

To everyone complaining about “BS HisRoyalFatness matchmaking”: You can get potato teams in Tier 5 or Tier 7 and still carry with 2k+ damage. HRF does the exact same thing, just with Tier 10.

i think emil 2 is godlike in tier 8 matchmaking but it not as good in tier 10 but it can hold it self in ridges when you have opponents shooting standard shells.

Accuracy is good till RNG kicks in,freakin bounce 2 shot on a T92E1 and Sheridan.And you know what's better? Doing 315 roll in a 120mm gun while the enemy 105mm deals 360 damage to me.Im absolutely having some fking fun right now with wotb.If only I had more money to buy a new phone

Depends really. I’ve seen super good players suck in this tank and vise versa. It has to suite your playstyle to truly be a worthy tank imo. -song is “Candy” by Grillabeats

Hmmm. Difficult to say. As good as the FV is I think I prefer the Mk6. They’re different tanks though.

ive gotta be honest I feel as though refined gun is a better choice for equipment because it reduces the amount the gun can troll you while sniping. But thank you Fatness for another great video and this was very helpful considering ive started to play my FV215B more now

Thing is generally I’m not sniping in FV. Only if the situation creates an opportunity.
