Thanks for the tutorial, mate. Beautiful song. Proud to say I live a few minutes drive from Robert Tannahill 's house in Paisley, Scotland who was basically penned he lyric. He's praised very highly here in Paisley. ..with good reason. Sadly committed suicide. I've been trying to identify your acoustic, but you've inconveniently cropped of the headstock 😄. I'm guessing it's a Martin judging by the rosette, but that's just a spurious guess. Thanks again 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

@@blainevaq not me, I'm a highlander . . and my da was a fine Irish boy 😊 But hear I am in 🇦🇺 and it's only sometimes I hear the toungues I love 😔 I love Wild Mountain Thyme, but seldom happy how it's done, and usually too fast, The Corries never disappoint. That was just beautiful, such a bonnie voice you have. I might just get out the guitar and try. I do wish you'd sing it through on a video, in your own way exactly, that's just right, full song. As I'd love you sing Carrickfergus, now that and I'd surely greet "If I could find me, a handsome boatman . . ."

I haven't done any videos in ages, need to get off my lazy backside and get going again. My brother lives in Australia (I'm hoping I'm correct in thinking thats an Australian flag) He is in Melbourne and has been for many years, has a family there now. You want to try this link buddy? Its similar, I've looked round for similar ones. Though do check the chords against mine, as some are slightly different. Where it may play a G I'd play the Cadd9.
