i know i have done this song before but i thought i had more to add as well as the tab for the song for those beginners out there that want to play lead or practice their tab playing.
for the strumming part you will only need the 3 chords G, C, D. and for the tab section the frets are 0, 2, 4. these are the only frets you will use for the whole tab so i like to use my 1st finger for fret 2 and my 3rd finger for the fret 4.
there is a lot of history that goes along with this song and if you are interested there are plenty of sites to find out about it but if you are learning the song then maybe just research the lyrics meaning and take it from there.
