Thanks so much for this tutorial! I just played against strangers on boardgamearena but didn't quite understand it. Came to YT for a tutorial and found your video. Very helpful, thanks!
Thank you! I got invited to play a game of Incan Gold on Board Game Arena and I didn't know how to play. Now I do! Super simple push-your-luck game, can't wait to get started!
0:38 Best is to do as in the Diamant edition : each player grabs a meeple (from another game), puts both hands under the table, decides secretly if they want to continue the exploration or go back to camp, then on signal all players put one hand above the table with fist closed. On signal again, they open their hand to reveal if the meeple is there or not. If it is they go on, if not they went back to camp. Easy and clear for everyone!
Great explanation and play through! I had watched another review/instructional and almost Turned away from the game. Glad I decided to watch yours. Thank you it looks like so much fun!
This is super helpful, though the problem of confusing cards is compounded by the confusing terms to go with them. "Go" means go back to the camp and "Stay" means stay in the ruin, but to match, but I heard them as the opposite for the first couple minutes ("stay" at the camp or "go" into the ruin).
@@iLoveBoardGamesVideo It's more a problem with the game than your video (I'm pretty sure the written rules have the same problem), but you're right that it's very clear when you start playing. Keep up the good work!
Yes, the gems are divided equally amongst the players that leave. The left over gems stay there for the next time someone leaves. Artifact cards are only awarded if a single player leaves.
