Most Tabletop channels that I watch just read out the rules and show examples, but you guys? Playing a proper game after explaining the rules? Idk, it just feels nice to see a game in action, rather than just having it explained to me.
Feels like classic GW sales technique, Offer a free game to teach the rules. I love it, this is how I got into Warhammer as it was so approachable like this.
Thank you guys for the review, been looking forward to this game ever since the teaser announcement! Big fan of warhammer underworlds but I really like the format/ideas that judgement and creature cast are going with!
Big fan of Underworlds as well. Happy to be playing other games on the channel. Hopefully if this goes well it can open the door for us to play all kinds of games.
This is great was looking forward to the kick starter and so this is a really nice vid :D also the minis are awesome from creature caster so a look into how they will look after mass production is nice.
I would watch you guys play this game on the daily! Really cool game from the looks up of. Love Creature Caster! Very happy they finally have a game i can use their minitures in.
I could watch you guys play anything, you bring a different energy to battle reports and your production value is fantastic. Thank you for show casing this game rather than just reading the rules and showing us the minis. Would love to see the channel do a tournament with this game.. or Blood Bowl or.. Guild Ball.. HELL just play everything !!
Because I love your vids and think you guys are the gold standard for entertaining RU-vid tabeltop vids, with peace and love, some of those audio track transitions need a little smoothing out. As a headphone user it was a wee bit painful. Other than that, SUPER DOPE VIDEO! Definitely going to look more into this game!
Not a fan of MOBAs, but it certainly looks intriguing. I was already planning on buying the game regardless because Creature Caster is worth taking a risk due to the quality of the models and I've always needed an excuse to buy some of their Daemons for my Khorne Worshiping World Eaters (apparently their demon range will have rules for Judgement: Eternal Champions). This video has made me more excited. Hopefully the rest of us can get our hands on the game relatively quickly after the Kickstarter goes up on the 27th.
Didn't realize they were Creature Caster sculpts until the MWG review. Their minis are phenomenal especially when you want some amazing proxies for GW models!
The production value on what I'd effectively call an ad and rules reading is amazing. Wasn't feeling this before, cause I wasn’t feeling a full theme, but maybe I will!
This was the most engaging introduction to a boardgame ever - and that is now available before the Kickstarter - wow! I knew the basic rules and what was going on after a few turns and I was captured. My only concern is that the game was very short and so the effigies too possibly vulnerable to enable a longer game. I'm interested in this because I would like to see creative levelling up of characters and greater character arcs of the champions on the board. Keen to hear more about this specific aspect.
We are always nervous about doing a game other than 40k as we don't know how the audience will respond. With this kind of positive response it gives us confidence to do more games.
@@PlayOnTabletop I would love to see more games from you guys in general. The quality of the content you guys produce is what sets you guys apart. Would personally lose my mind to see you guys play AoS, Warcry, Underworlds, Blood bowl, necromunda, mordheim.... indie games... you name it!! Love everything you guys do
Great tutorial for the game. First I've seen of it and this was really clear, informative and exciting. Like the sound of the game as something with only a few miniatures and some good strategy. Cheers
you called it play on table top for a reason, 40k can be your bread and butter but I love this high production value rules explanation/game play! watch this game's sales double overnight haha
@@PlayOnTabletop i cant speak for everyone who plays 40k, but all of my friends who play 40k also enjoy other boardgames/tapletop games. I've loved your channel since the first video I saw, I'm excited to see where you guys take it.
I know this was paid content, but you guys absolutely crushed it. I would love to see more content that this. This video made me go and pledge something on Kickstarter for the first time ever!
Great Game Demo & Explanation. I do believe there is 1 thing you guys forgot and that was to give Credit to Ninjon for the incredible paint job he did on all the models
Ninjon's painting was superb and we can't thank him enough for being a part of the launch! In this video we actually use models painted by another artist as well.
This looks super sick, tight decision making with alternating activations and positional requirements...plus it’s Creature Caster. I think I may pick this up as my next game...
It still have a feel of a kickstarter game, but with less bloat (token or rules -wise) that I've seen. Hoping for a success for Creature Caster people.
Holy crap. I just heard about this game like minutes ago while having an old episode of Trapped Under Plastic auto play. Does this mean I have to buy it ahah?
I'm not excited by these models, but if I wait around long enough, I'm sure there will be one that does excite me. Looks like a better game than Godstear. Just wish that the models excited me as much as Godstear models do.
@@nc8918 I just feel that this game gets what I want out of a MOBA better. I'm not saying Godtear is a bad game, either. I just feel this game gets me more of the kind of play I want. If I could play this game with Godtear models, I'd be very happy.
I wish I could order sets of heroes, but it does not look like I can. I wished the minis came with the cards, but it does not look like it is possible. You can order them for a price… Oh well
I find it amusing that all the graphics that Play on use are "Judgement: Eternal Champions" but the box in front of them says "Eternal Champions Judgment"
@@PlayOnTabletop thanks, now all i have to know is what was in the briefcase in pulp fiction, was Deckard a replicant and finally I need to work out just which one of them was spartacus! there is work to be done!
I think it is worth mentioning, that this is also a game that we plan on supporting long term... not a kickstarter and nothing for a few years type game!
@@CreatureCaster Ugh... I can already feel the money going from being mine to being yours! It looks so good! I am glad to hear about the long term support, because I see on the kickstarter so many characters, and I cannot afford them all now.
We were hoping that the subtle shot of the crumbled Krognar effigy at the end there would tell the tale. The tall tale of a flying, a nimble, and an angry dwarf with a great axe hitting a critical.
I can’t find any way to buy the game a year later. Did it get discontinued or something? A shame if it did, it looks like a lot of fun and the models are gorgeous
I prefer games where the dice don't largely determine the winner. Games of 40k with a minimum of 2000 pts where unless you are jinxed, the odds should balance out over the game. This game seems like if you get good early rolls and outnumber enemy 3:2 it should be an easy win.
A very well done preview- thx for the awesome introduction. Can you tell more about the quality difference between resin & PVC minis in judgement? Propably 7n comparison to games Workshop minis?!?
Well, pretty curious game, but doesn't look like smth I want to buy. Interesting tactical options, but way too fast - if we'll remove all the explanations, this game would end in like 10 minutes. Doesn't feel like a **battle** - more like a humble single local fight)
As this is a how to video with the goal of being informative we did work off a script of sorts however not word for word, or dice for dice. A guideline to ensure things happened so we could show off the game.
Advertising a game from Kickstarter that you have failed to deliver and keeping people’s money and telling them be patient for the last 2 years is beyond a joke. You are not a correctly run company. Either deliver the product or return people’s money!
