Ken is really good but i wouldnt say hes a good beginner character. I would go for Ryu, hes the best beginner character that can help you ease into the game mechanics. He is also S tier right now and the best hes ever been. Once you get comfortable I could see you picking up Ken.
You don’t need a combo guide for ken. Do St.hp into light jinrai low it’ll carry you to master. I wish I was joking. You can’t DI it because you have just enough active frames to react to DI it’s a tight window but you can counter DI on that block string. H dragon lash is basically impossible to react to in some cases because of mental stack and it’s +1 on block. There you go Ken mains. You’re welcome
lol Ken was the easiest for me to get to master so your not entirely wrong about his gameplan. I feel like new players wouldnt understand him as much as they would Ryu, so I still recommend Ryu for beginners.
@@ThunderLordFGC I know I’m not wrong about his gameplan because that’s literally what every Ken does 😂. I recommend like for beginners as he’s very easy to comprehend from the get go. On top of that Luke has no holes in his game plan. He’s pretty well rounded so it’s good for a beginner.
@@ThunderLordFGCI think it’s because your first combo ending in a M shoryuken, let’s you meaty after. You dash forward after and you’re able to throw out a medium punch if they don’t block.
Your going to do a dragon punch motion, and then press two kick buttons to enhance it. The input for dragon lash is Forward, Down, Down Forward, KK (two seperate kick buttons to enhance/overdrive it). If your semi-new to the game i wouldnt really worry about side switching until a little later.
@@leo85903 OH thats because you need to do the target combo MP>HP first. The HP in that target combo juggles the opponent upward making them airborne, which will make the dragon lash kick side switch.
