Calvin, I'm Vinnie's girlfriend. I wanted to stop and let you know, while he was battling cancer so hard every day, he would sit as long as he could and watch this video, and when he finally got it down, he would play it so loud, it made his day. Unfortunately the cancer has wreaked havoc on his body, he always admired what you did for him as a complete stranger. He's holding on by a thread these days, its just awful.I just wanted to stop by and thank you myself.
Josina Thompson I am so sorry to hear about his struggles! Thank you so much for sharing this with me. Cancer has affected several people close to me as well. I am glad he enjoyed this video - I wish the best for you both. Tell him I am glad he got to play the song LOUD!
Hi Calvin. Thankyou so much for this video. I have listened to this song for about 25 years and never thought I would be able to play but now I can. You Rock!
+Calvin Hsu That's too bad. Anyways... you have a great sound and I look forward to coming back here to study your video a little more. Just Subscribed! I'd ask you to do the same, but I'd rather you follow my original band and Subscribe, if you're interested. Let me know. Cheers!
Calvin does ty end the verse riff with open D chord or in your performance notes on this video bar the chord 7th fret. You played both ways so just curious. Also are you playing through lab series?
Sean Lynch in the middle of the verse it’s up at the 7th fret with the open D string in the bass. At the end of the riff it’s the open D chord because it’s easier to get to the next riff from there. And yes, it’s a Lab Series. Thanks for watching!
Sounds great but im just not picking up on it. I always get discouraged trying tonlearn covers. So i dont. But im gonna stick with it. That and playing upside down.
Calvin, help! You didn't say anything about the tuning, or I missed it (i had the volume on max, and ur just to far in the background, too soft spoken, I can't hear about half of ur narration. help!
