I was playing her yesterday and they had a jorm solo, i dashed into him and as soon as i did he ulted so i wouldn't kill him and i couldn't get out so he took me to his tier 2 tower. I just dashed out of the tower but our solo laner was like well that was an interaction lol.
Just saying, if you are good with Thor, he counters her hard very hard. She is not hard to shut down, Ganesha put her down in the back line as well. If you can cancel her 1 you are good into her
Yeah I played 10 games with her yesterday just testing things and the only game I lost out of the 10 had a Ganesh Thor and Hel that completely shut me down whenever I would try to do anything
@@the_uhhh_merica ganesha and thor do that to anyone but even less to manan because she has an op passive that you build with some attack speed. she is pretty busted you just haven't realized it
A big thing to note for her lifesteal build, the passive counts as a single target ability, so you do get full lifesteal from it. It can give her quite a hefty amount of burst healing if she's able to proc several passives in a row.
I noticed that while doing jungle camps, with a full lifesteal build I was basically full healing off of 1 or 2 jungle camps no matter how low my health would be when I started the camp.
I find Bancrofts and Typhons are good on her, Tabuti has great synergy with her passive, and she appreciates Chronos Pendant for a bit more CDR, and last item is a flex item. bancrofts usually being upgraded to the Nimble glyph. Magi’s is a good last item, so is Magus, so is Divine, so is Telkhines for purely dealing more damage with autos, or Poly for the one auto after an ability. I personally think she has more than enough attack speed without the rings though, I think between Nimble Bancrofts and Eye of the Jungle she has plenty of attack speed.
Oh yeah Tahuti point is a good one. Maybe that should be somewhere in the build. So much to fit in. I could see Tahuti in place of doom orb tho. Lose the MS for useful synergy and a glyph potentially.
I didnt play her that much in conquest but ive been having good success with this: - vamp (sacrificial), chronos, deso, typhons, vancroft(had poli before here but i didnt like that id didnt proc multiple times off the 1),tahuti as per matchups. you have a hard time vs insta stuns like rat or thor, the rest you dont have a lot of issues
Passive triggers tablet and reaver. A full book build is honestly the best thing on her i mean i'm crossing 100k dmg every game that goes over 45 min and here is why. First of all dashing into someone when you leave you'll always land an auto coming out so that's an easy polyproc. If you AA cancel that with the 2 they'll have 4 stacks on them already so when you 1 now the passive will proc on them 3 times so now you proced tablet and reaver 6 times 3 times off the passive and 3 times off of her kit and you smacked them with a reaver proc. I'm killing cap mitigation and magical prots lvl 20 hercs in under 3 seconds i honestly don't think there is a better tank nuking god in the game rn.

Tablet, thoth, poly, reaver, sell recipe for typhoons sell starter for calamitous rod of tahuti it's cap % pen,double book procs which shreds tanks getting reaver proced 6 times and tablet proced 6 times, ton of power and double lifesteal.
Protector Coin Nimble Bancroft Chronos Deso Flex item typically antiheal, poly, or reaver Granted in casuals went 48/9/15 in an hour 10 game. Got a few Quadra and trips because she can just ignore most ults by dashing into enemies.
Would you consider doing a video or giving your thoughts on interactions with her dash? There are some crazy interactions I’ve had. I’ve read she’s supposed to be untargetable while possessing a player. However, I lost a joust game the other day from a Heimdall ulting me out of his teammate while I was possessing them pretty much all game.
I have a mouse with a num pad, I have it duplicating the number row so I can use my thumb for abilities, quick casting is destructive and it also makes it so you can move to the right and aim your ult at the same time
my build for Maman is Eye, into tahuti, demonic, bancrofts, typhons, poly. gives insane power, attack speed, lifesteal. her farm is good enough that you can get tahuti with first back.
Poseidon I've discovered, is a very annoying counter, because his whirlpool shuts down your escape option and then he just summons a kraken on you and if you aren't one shotted already, you're very low on health.
I think she shouldnt be able to 3 into cc immune enemies. If she didn't have the second dash it would be fine cause you could run under tower or something but its such a free escape for so much with little to no counter play only counter picks.
exactly as I've said. I really hope her 3 gets nerfed to shit, there's no counter play besides using a Thor ult and going into your titan room, you can't beads/aegis, cant cleanse it with anything, can't even damage her which I feel you should be able to do but it's a 50% mitigation if allies attack at you. I'd take any form of counter play against her 3 no matter what it is it's just oppressive and nooby at the moment
I’ve been really liking elleons AO build on her. Eye->protector, rod of Tahuti, telekhines, Bancroft -> nimble, typhons, poly. You get enough power to use her passive well, and also you end up with like 2.3 attack speed with nimble kinda stupid
@@kriegaone3658 the glyphed Bancroft is for the power and attack speed to be paired with typhons and it gives lifesteal. Edit: Not to say cyclopean isn't good for 1's in a perfect 1v1 the extra 8% makes a big difference, but in an actual conquest, or arena. Killing two in 12 seconds full then full healing of 1 minion wave or jungle camp is a little bit better.
Problem wiht pure dps character like maman is that she had to do an insane amount of dmg to be reliable If she does dmg comparable to gods like thor she wont be playable because she just has a stun and a really small knockup so she is low on utility Dont get me wrong tho she is broken right now she does so much dmg, one shots with even using ult
It's quite hard on ping but honestly I wouldn't worry about using only 5 fuel each time. You won't ever need 20 cancels in one fight or even for farming really. The cooldown is so low that using a bit more fuel is sometimes better actually.
My friend i usually play with usually jungles and i go mid so he played her more yesterday, but he just wasn't doing good with her but none where he just fucked everyone up so i was thinking maybe she's not that crazy... but he just sucks with her or something 😂😂😂 first game i played her i was 9 and 0 at 10 mins and they surrendered lol.
@@enchanter967 she is cc immune because you can't target her, ares is just an AoE effect around him that's probably coded differently and hi rez did (or maybe didnt) know about this interaction with her dash and ares ult
@billionbagdreams it doesn't matter if it is or isn't, hi rez is lazy and should've hard coded it to not hide inside of people who aegis or beads it, it should also be cleansable because it's a pretty busted ability and she will win 99% of 1v1s because of it
But it is punishable… she might be able to dash out of you, just take her into the middle of your team.. run away from her team.. if your by yourself and not around a tower or phoenix, whelp… but she always dashing away from you when it’s done you can just aegis the damage then when she dashed out use your movement ability and get away…
This has by far been the most toxic character release. People throwing hissy fits cause you don’t build her like they do, they didn’t get to play her so they troll the match, dodging matches in lobby for the same reason, enemy smashing their face into her. MOBAs have always been toxic, but something diff is in the smite community. I went ability power instead of AA speed first day release & my solo raged their mind out. Then got his buddies to F6 the match.
I feel like it I'm the only who doesn't think she's "broken" (People keep using this word incorrectly) Release Shiva was "broken" not this. She does mad damage, yeah. But her movement is mediocre, the Maman player actually needs to be good, and she had to throw her body in to get stuff done. I'd rather deal with a good Maman than a good Ao Kuang
the dash is the most annoying thing in the game, should be able to beads it and receive only the 1 initial hit, should be able to aegis it, should be cleansable if you dont prebeads, a good way to counter it *would* be to jump into your tower or into your allies but nope she gets a 50 unit dash, she should just pop out of them instead of a full on dash, making her more risky.
to add to this the 1 is knock up immune which is crazy to me, lance is my favorite god and i play him a good amount and to just be so hard countered with the knock immunity, easy stun, and the 3 feels bad after he just got a pretty good buff. make the 1 not knock up immune 🙏🙏
A big downside to her dash is that if she dashes into a god with a long ult (Arachne, Rattaskr, Thor) She stays for the entire duration, even after dealing her damage. So you can basically take maman for a walk into your titan/foutain and she can do nothing about it. Its pretty funny
Yeah that's why I suggested Chronos can be a good option. But her cooldowns are low by default and with Deso, Power Pot and Blue totem you have 30% in the late game. It's a sacrifice for other stuff like lifesteal and item passives. Depends how you like to play really.

she's so busted she needs a nerf, I haven't been playing for years like others might have but I've seen a lot of God releases and I don't remember them being as oppressive as maman especially with that 3
You really take away the coolness of it being rum when you call it fuel. The ability involves her drinking the rum, blowing fire and smashing the bottle.
First ever game on her with some random build i put together i dropped 26 or 27 kills i don't remember exactly. We lost tho cause my teammates decided to go through a lobotomy before queueing.
Not more than any other Assassin that uses autos tho. AA cancelers like Thor or full AA Asassins like Baka/Kali eat more shit from that than she does. It is a really strong and underrated ability tho.

@@ChefHorus I know what you mean, xing is good counter play. I feel like she’s better to build ability based than AA based so far. Look the goat replied to ur comment as well, like I said in general, xing is good counter play to peel off aa based assassins from ur back line. You can root with ur 2 grab with ultimate and shit on aa with 1.
