You can also create diagonal bridges to avoid curved roads

Lights got buffed to be faster and they give you two each time now, still probably the worst choice unless you can’t fit roundabouts anywhere. I also use my roads to block areas I don’t want things to spawn. Keeping the mid clear and forcing spawns in the outer areas helps a lot. I rarely keep extra roads if I have spares. Just destroy them later if you need them. Great video though. Just a couple tips for the newer players.

Wow so happy to see that this is helping people out. There have been scored of 50k and even 100k but I believe those are hacks as I’ve been playing this for over 2 years now and could not achieve that

In my opinion, the traffic lights are almost mandatory on connecting roads. If you have a 4 road intersection with 2 colors of cars, traffic lights help with the intersection.

No, they are actually quite counterproductive. The cars will take the exact same path that they would have otherwise, but often, they will have to stop unnecessarily, wasting time and slowing down traffic.

Haha I get it but in this game you cannot have things looking straight and nice as it's all about random spawns

Then you do have to play it. Your mind can adapt and learn and change amigo. Giving in to ocd actually makes it stronger, and that's not wat you want. Make a big mess and see what your brain thinks of that! Just have fun with this and other games. Hope that helped a little bit. ;-)

It used to be like this yes but now it feels like we do not get enough roads to do it anymore and we are forced to use the roundabouts and create intersections

Is there a PC version bc it looks like you are playing on PC and I would love to. I know this is coming out on Steam, but currently there is nothing. How do you do it?

I am playing on the Mac. The Steam version is in the works as far as I know. Not sure when they will release it.

everyone hates traffic lights in this game. i would not be surprised, if traffic lights are only good, where you have 4 of them in a series.

Making diagonals is faster to go in a diagonal direction yes, that's how geometry works. If you need to go diagonally you travel less by going directly in the diagonal rather than going horizontal first and then vertical (or the opposite obviously). It looks ugly though in this game and I don't care how unefficient it is in some cases I'll have some nice sharp sexy angles :D

The circle Mall has an increased rate of requests for cars... so basically when it goes circle you know that you need to provide it more cars.

Good stuff, but I find this kind of "build" not fun to play. I prefer to build interconnected roads like a real city, but it's sure way less efficient

Connecting roads like in a city looks interesting yes to see those color of different cars merge together but it gets messy and you do not get too far

The game does not have a save system. You usually just close the game and it should return to where it was when you come back at it but sometimes it does reset for me too so yeah... a pretty annoying system
