I feel for you as it means you've never listened to the original score "adds extra notes" ... Sigh. He doesn't. He is simply playing a chord with his left hand. HE IS ADDING NOTHING. He is simply playing the notes like a rake. He adds no extra notes nor is he actually doing anything that amazing that every piano player beyond grade 3 cannot do. Worse still is that it's not the main theme and the victory theme is actually a reprise of another song that is often associated with Mercy, Winston and Tracer. The Overwatch 2 Cinematic plays part of the full version. You have to remember these are SCORES and not songs. They have reprises and refrains all over the shop. This is so it ties together with a melody and key. Really
0 dislikes. I can see why. Your vids are so easy to understand! Your awesome! If only i could send you a video of me playing the song you just taught me in 1 day! I love you! Thanks so much!
omg thank you so much amosdoll I have honestly been waiting for you to make a tutorial on overwatches theme! I have always loved your music covers and tutorials you helped me learn No Mercy on the piano and now I can learn this :D thanks so much!!
I appreciate so much that you go through every step of every song. You give tips to people of all skill levels and tricks to make songs even more interesting (spicing them up a bit if you will). Explaining everything as you go, much like a proper tutor. I've always loved the piano and you've helped me accomplish learning songs I never thought I could and helped ignite my passion for music. Thank you so much, for this and every video you make.
Hey Asmodoll: Super nice work. I love this Game! I love this Song! I love your video! So thank you for uploading this masterpiece. Greetings from Germany 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Well, like you said Mr. Amosdall, if you could please play Can’t Stop Me by Proleter, not much of a chance I’ll have success anytime soon, but hey, it’s worth a shot, no?
Vidio was amazing ty! But I would really like to know what notes you played to finish the the unedited piece, it was very quick, that would be great thank you
For me I hate it. Nobody has the right version. This is a reprise of part of the main theme. I want the actual theme and the actual piano score... Not the orchestral version that is meant to have diegetic sounds over the top and therefor is changed... I have tried to work it out myself but I am still learning piano. I am a clarinet/oboe player... And have played since early childhood. So I can transcribe music... Just would be nice if all these virtuoso musos could learn the proper songs instead of just the melody and thinking that adding a chord rang out as an arpeggio is not the song... That is just generic. He does the same to every song. I think it is actually a disguise. I don't think he learns the full song, he learns the main melody and the roots. That is it. He then addds this "flourish" that only ever wows noobs and to anyone who has gone beyond grade 3 it is a little cringe-inducing. It's why you never see any grade 8 piano players in his comments. I think they run away screaming... To put it into Overwatch terms - It's like uploading a moira POTG... Anyone that plays at a high rank, especially at the moment, knows Moira is low skill and also not liked. Ana and Brig being higher skill based. Or the other way is it's like someone uploading a soldier ult at bronze rank... Sure it looks cool and seems OP af... But we all know that soldiers ult really isn't that amazing. And outside of silver/gold you wont get huge results. You deffo wont get a team kill on a reg basis with it. But yet to noobs stuff like dva bomb and tac visor are huge. This guy is like that. Haven't seen a song where he doesn't do the same thing with the chords. He doesn't even attempt to mix it up. He does the same each time. It's like a guitarist that can travis pick and only travis pick... There are other finger styles, buddy!
Nick Armitt well, I think that he is just trying to give the simplest version while still being easy and give the people the main part of the song that they want to hear. If you want a more original version I suggest you look up an actual band’s sheet music for it and not a RU-vid video that was made for beginners.
