That's a good overview. @10:00 the front ranger moves because your hiker is ahead of it even though it's on the trail end "If a Hiker is ahead of both Rangers on the Trail, move the Front Ranger-the one furthest down the Trail." the trail end is still part of the trail. it's a little tricky but the hiker is ahead of him. but the ranger does move to the bottom slot (green space) like you show and "Discard the right Park (Slot 3). Shuffle all 3 sunshine cost gear Gear on the board back into the Gear deck." it's interesting you put the 1 sunshine gear in the third slot on the board. another thing that's confusing in the rules is the rangers stop at their green boxes/slots on the middle (2 sun) and bottom (3) and don't move onto the right side. however they do move onto the right side boxes at the top (1 sun). those were answered in an FAQ I don't have in front of me at the moment. you're playing the newer 1.1 version which has solo trail end icons that make a little more sense than the original release. I do like the solo event deck. I strategically keep my eye on it and during late game I'll grab tokens off the trail to block a bad event from happening. fwiw I use the green hikers as the rangers since traditionally I picture rangers wear green lol
Thanks. And I guess it just makes sense to me to start from the gear deck with the numbering, thus going from right to left getting higher as you move away from the gear deck. It makes no difference as long as you are consistent.
Oh and good catch. I did move the wrong ranger. Also, my favorite color is green, so I go with that color for myself. It does make sense to make the rangers green. However, if I did that I would probably keep trying to move them for myself. Going with the plain white color helps me be sure I don't mix up who I am and who the rangers are.
