Many thanks, I been tryin to find out about "common piano chords chart" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Ever heard of - Nonason Ranincoln Genie - (do a google search )? It is a great one off product for discovering how to play the piano like a pro without the hard work. Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my work buddy got excellent results with it.

It is a great exclusive product for discovering how to play the piano like a pro minus the normal expense. Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my cousin got excellent results with it.

I like how he bluntly says this is NOT the right way to play at the beginning. It goes against the sentiment that "there is no wrong way to play" which I also like, but I've noticed that people are taking that sentiment to new levels, promoting mediocrity and being paranoid of challenge and criticism. Thank you for not being afraid to tell people they're wrong in a world where people increasingly feel the need to be told they're right no matter what.

here's a few ideas for how to learn piano Try practicing about an hour a day, or half an hour if you are very busy. Do more practice whenever you can. For example, on weekends you could do more than 1 hour, perhaps two or three, or even more. This is useful because it pulls you out of the routine of piano playing, and lets you practice more and perfects the pieces you play. (I discovered about these and more from Denelle Piano Lesson site )

Wow. I have been playing for almost 45 years. While I can play the piano, I'm not a good pianist. It's been a tremendous blessing and an outlet for venting emotions and an avenue for artistic creativity. I never practiced to improve. I played for pleasure and early on that was so much that I did improve of course. I was easily challenged. Eventually I got to a point that i wasn't improving because there was no focus on it. I never saw playing the piano as work. Not one time. So, here I am almost 60 years old and haven't played in over a month. I have seen many many ways to "learn the piano" courses. Some were good. Some very good even. Jermaine at GMTC gets special props from me. Those guys are great an the system of learning makes sense to me. Your approach is a paradigm shift from the norm though. The analogy of speech couldn't be more elucidating. We know how to speak quite well before we learn to read and write. Your approach to speaking the language of the piano with practice simply enabling us to be more fluent and accurate in our communication hits home with me. I only saw the exercises in the basic. Just like a bell ringing - how simple but impactful. It's about opening new synaptic pathways. Very cool. I understand many others are touting similar ideas but I, personally , didn't hear the idea as succinctly as I did from you. I wasn't moved to action. As life around the world slowly returns to some facsimile of normality I am going to settle into your method and do some work on the piano for the first time in my life. Thank you. Brilliant!

I found this tutorial quite inspiring! I don't know that I'd call the 2 part system "wrong" (I've been plunking along with it for years) but I must say your 3 part system sounds a lot better and will add some challenge to my old habits. We have a nice piano in the living room an after a bit of work with your system, perhaps my wife won't insist that I play the keyboard with headsets in the back room!!

Who can deny that the arrangement as taught here was simply beautiful? That said however some songs can be stunning when played so simply you can feel the very soul of the original composer Or perhaps using both styles in one piece. I can certainly imagine Yesterday played using the "incorrect method" to start out and then adding the texture at the bridge and maybe going back to "incorrect" at the end. The contrast between those two styles in the same piece would have a powerful impact. There is a place for all styles in the infinite plateau of music.

Dude, if I ever have money I will pay you a thousand bucks for this video. I've never had a piano teacher in my life so I rely on books and videos like these, and I had been going through some distress since several months because my chord melodies sounded lame and I had no idea where I was wrong, even though the solution seemed like it should be quite simple. 5 minutes after I watched this video, my playing changed completely! It turns out, I was doing it as a two-part system.

This is excellent. The concept is actually pretty simple, given a basic understanding of music theory. The problem for most (myself included) is fluent and efficient (read smooth and not thinking about) chord voicing mastery thru your independent hands on the keyboard.

Fantastic Video. It's one thing when just show you how to play, but not many people seem to be able to inspire people to reach for the musical colorings like your videos impart. This way beginners, intermediates and semi pros can benefit from your tutorials. I love to hear slick riffs as much as everyone else, but when you can play 1 chord and it make people's head pop up to see who is playing, that is musical prowess at its best. I truly enjoyed the 1st few videos and will be watching the others. Thank you. Well done.
