(Tip for all #plant gang) Piranha's up smash has a sweet spot, there directly above you it can kill at 80% or even 70% if you charge it a little.

Another tip.for the #plantgang:. Pirahna Plant's head, particularly it's tip, seems to be a sweet spot, so be sure to charge the ELONGATION, but not too much!

Here’s a good killer move: while your opponent is grounded, and at a high percent, hit them with a down air, land, and the hit them with a back air

I'm seriously considering the idea of picking PP as my secondary ... This guy has a lot of good tools, and there are many players that aren't familiar with his kit. He's got great recovery, great edge guarding, good zoning potential, good off-plat game, good damage, decent combos, decent aerials, decent throws, nice smashs and nice neutral/tilts. Of course, he's not top or high tier material, but still VERY UNDERRATED.

@@derekkelly485 Not really. But people make him seem worse than he actually is. I suggest if you want to get into the character, try experimenting with him.

Sometimes I use the spike ball and let it hover, then when someone attacks me it will drop on them. I've ko'd like that and it makes my friends mad xD

You should do Robin next. I'm interested to see your approach with him. Also Piranha Plant's down special extends his hurtbox*, so the opponent can hit you anywhere on the stem and you'll take damage. Also, if you use it in the air and the opponent spikes your head, you'll be spiked off-stage.

Another fun fact about our chompy boi is that the only character who has appeared in more Mario games than the Pirahna Plant (or one of it's variants) is Mario himself.

I saw another comment that recommended Robin. I agree. Robin isn't the easiest character to use and isn't exactly that good in the first place so a guide to Robin would be helpful for unique players and for the rare chance that you match up against one

In my opinion piranha plant is more of a technical character that uses the arials, the poision clouds ans patooeis to limit the opponent's range of movment
