Hey Andrè! Just wanted to ask you a question. First off thanx for this tutorial. Now my question : is it necessary for a guitar player to learn major, minor, and Pentatonic scales of sharp notes as well? Or is it sufficient to just learn the natural note scales?

that's a good question! I think it is important to learn the scales that are relevant to what you are working on this moment. So for instance you're working on Slow dancing in a burning room. It uses C# minor pentatonic / C# aeolian / and E major. Maybe more importantly seeing the chords over the neck of the guitar if you intend to solo and see your scales in relation to those chords. Even though you can allocate time in a day to practicing all kinds of scales in all keys, there's a lot you can do around tunes you're working on. It'll put things more in a musical context and maybe make more sense more quickly. I do practice all sorts of things but I think this would be a good place to start. Hope this helps!

You don't look good to me. Perhaps you've been working too hard. I really suggest you get a medical checkup. I have a strange feeling you are going to thank me later. Please do it. Do it for the wife and kids if you won't do it for yourself or we students who sincerely like you.

Thanks for looking out for me Eddie. I'm not sure what was going on then (the video is a bit more than a year ago) but I do know that I have 2 young kids that sometimes keep me up at night :-)
