Just one question: why don't we do Q-AA-AA-Q while farming? It resets the basic and does the same damage as Q-AA-AA-AA, but a bit faster.

From my analysis and from what he said, Top Lane had just recalled and him waiting time top would be a waste of time. Him trying to challenge Void Grubs would mean a likely 1v3 against the enemy team, which you will probably not win. It's better to challenge the opposite side of the map as a Jungler to promise at least a 3v3 or a 3v2, or invade the enemy jungle like he showcased in the video to punish their CS.
