Thanks for your enthusiasm. I don't play the Irish whistle but I do play the Native American Flute. I have been transcribing the whistle to NAF tablature when the songs don't have too high an octave and An Dro is one of them. Plays well on a NAF high B flute. Many thanks.

Hi Stephanie ! I heard on your "scots videos" that you ask for tunes from other countries. Here is some breton music. I suggest you to listen to Didier Squiban's music. He's a Breton pianist who composes modern music with traditionnal inspiration. It's wonderfull. You can start by listening to his album "Bretagne". Hope to see one of your adaptations soon.

Aho CutiePie. I just finished transcribing this song into Native American Flute finger tabs. Playing this song on the N.A.F. will take some effort as the note progression isn't as natural for the N.A.F. as it is on the whistle. The E on the N.A.F. is what some people refer to as "the dreaded half hole note". There are 17 of them on this song. I can see I'm going to be geting a lot better at transitioning into and out of this note. Thanks again for your commitment. What's this side blown stuff I'm seeing? Before long we'll probably see you playing a Native American style flute.

Dear Cutipie in the end you of your video you play on flute. I recently bought an irish flute And I am having a hard time with the fingering. Streching is tiring it is difficult to breathe And place my Fingers. I am just used to tin whistle. Flute is new to me And you play it Well. Can you give me any advice how to play an irish flute And keep my Fingers in the right position without putting too much stress on my Fingers? Will it improve? Btw Piper's grip are also difficult when I play Low D whistle since my hands are small. Thank you for help in advance I envy you for having no difficulty ( in a Good sense if course )

Thanks a lot for your work and the video! Still struggling on some parts, I think I still don't have the level to "pause" the sound at the right time and "speed it up" when it should be. (Hard to explain) Would you consider transcripting another Breton song? One of my favourite is called "E Garnison" by Denez Prigent! I don't know if its manageable to swap the bombard part by a whistle one but it would be awesome. Denez is a great artist from Brittany, he is almost the only one of his kind. One of his song was used in the movie "Black Hawk Down". Since i've started, here are other Breton artists you could to listen to if you are curious about this part of the Celtic culture : - Duo Menguy-Berenguer (Erwan Menguy is a terrific whistle player); Plantec - Kost Er Hoet (at Yaouank festival); Josset-Martin Duo; Les frères Morvan; Les sœurs Goadec; Hamon Martin Quintet . It is of course, a very subjective list. :) Kenavo!

Stephanie! A very catchy little tune indeed! Easy to play... I'm not so sure about that. You and this catchy little tune brought out the best so far in the Cris Wall copper whistle. I've looked around here on RU-vid and it appears to me that you have the most successful whistle channel on here. It has definitely been the most successful at keeping my attention and maintaining my feeling of being in love and enjoying your reversed ageing effects or affects... I'm still not sure about the proper use of those words. And this of coarse includes my new hair growth. The length of time on RU-vid does contribute greatly to the amount of subscribers you will have and you are definitely a young channel, so if you keep posting they will come. Some will come, some will go. If everyone sent you a dollar a month you could quit your day job, but unfortunately it doesn't happen that way. You probably already know this... Some subscribers use the subscribe button to bookmark videos here on RU-vid and the reason I know this is because I would do it when I first started watching RU-vid. But now I pick and choose what channels I subscribe to more carefully. So I'm saying this because we know that everyone that subscribes doesn't always fall in love with you as I have, but I would say that most do I'm sure. And they will continue to do so. There is simply nothing unlovable about you. You are amazing! Now about this bonus side blown flute at the end of the video.... I have no idea as to what it is and where you got it ...
