I had an irrational hatred towards Akuma in Tekken 7. But in spite that SuperAkouma was one of my favorite players in the scene; I just couldn't bring myself to root for you in tournaments. Now as my dilemma is gone I can wholeheartedly enjoy your performance and content and support you (and I also love and absolutely adore Lee). Great guide! Subscribed to both your youtube and Twitch ❤
Just wanted to add some things that were not mentioned: - Df2 has high crush properties early on in the animation - D2(CH) no longer a full launch instead we get guaranteed 14 frame follow up - Mist step b,n,4(CH) and 2,1,4(CH) no longer a full launch instead we get guaranteed 13 frame follow up - previously BNB combos had 3x b2f and b4(CH) had 4x b2f; in Tekken 8 u can add one more b2f to your combos with the only exception being f333334 - b1,1f now 1 frame faster than before making it much easier to connect b1,1f after b2f - Command grab into guaranteed follow up still exists but no more true mix-up afterwards - d/b 1+2 got removed..... rip fake-ki-charge-unblockable - u/f 4(hold) got removed - WS1 automatically transitions into Hitman stance - Hitman 1+2 automatically transitions back into Hitman stance - Hitman u/f 4 no longer a CH launcher instead opponent is forced into crouching state and we get guaranteed 1,3*1,1 - We can now use punch parry and rage art during Hitman stance - All Violet mains should learn how to Hitman shuffle
Nice list. He also lost ss 3+4, it wasn’t great though. (He might’ve mentioned this in the vid but I watched it a month ago and don’t think he did lol)

Steve main here .. aspiring to be a knee or atif buff .mokujin from the tekken 5 days . Played azicena, drag, leo already pushing them to fujin. Have EXpierence on claudio, feng, and a few of the characters too .. lee is next on my list becuase he has so many launchers 😭😂 Loving the combos .. but the execution for me is gonna take some time ..good pokes and the just frames I haven't got yet . Looking forward to learning the character in depth for the next month and will move onto the bears probably
Back 2 loops still working? Or did it get nerfed? I can only pull one off before combo drops 😢...don't tell me its a skill issue haha Edit: it was a skill issue lol got the loops to work. Gotta press forward after back 2 for the short dash.
SA! How do you do your b2 loops on hitbox? Any special method? Like I know father for instance holds back and then taps forward before immediately holding back again for the next b2, do you do this method or do you just press b2f? I find that my ring finger gets worn out so quickly and Im looking to see how you go about doing it!
@@SuperAkouma so do you hold back before the animation even begins? Thats how father does it, he will hold back and then press 2 when the punch is needed and immediately presses back again before the next animations starts, I want to know exactly what method you use do you think you could describe it? there are so few of us hitbox lee players and you are a very good player so I want to see if you methods differ from my own lol
@@Section8dc Just went to try for you, I press b2 at the same time, I press the forward almost at the same time. I release the back while holding the forward. then I release the forward and leave a small neutral to see the mist step before I repeat the whole thing
Tres interessant comme personnage j’lai pris en 2e perso ça me prendre du temps à tout implementer Dommage qu’il n’y ai pas de tuto de ce genre dans la commu française (enfin il y en a mais très peu et jamais sur mes persos 😂😂) Ps: jspr Akouma que tu pourras nous en faire un en FR ou VOSTFR 👀

No im pretty sure its easier than that, and personally it feels like they made them easier than 8 although I don't know if that's confirmed true. The one I find still truly difficult is 3,3,4 just frame
Depends on the move. Mist trap is one frame. Acid rain is a 3 frame and a 2 frame I believe. The rest (aside from the taunt, that I don't know much about) are more lenient afaik
