Dude this is a really helpful video and under appreciated. I have watched a lot of TA videos trying to learn her and this one had some tremendously helpful tips not mentioned elsewhere.
yo i just started learning dota complete beginner but ive been loving your content you put on your channel. It's been insanely helpful with learning the game and figuring out specific things like who is meta rn. keep up the good work man i appreciate you.
I've been searching for some videos that cover decision making and game plans but can't find anything other than tips and tricks. I used to be hearld and average like 300gpm and 400xpm. Now I average 550gpm and xpm but my win rate is still 50 percent. I must be making dumb choices all game long. I've tried buying BOTs and split pushing way more but my win rate has gone down after that. I need like a formula of how to approach games to get out of low mmr. People in my bracket do things like pick AM support. I can tell and feel that I am in low skill games but I still don't dominate most games. I just feed like the rest the players in the game.
@@Docwell some guides on strategy and game plan would be great. I've doubled my average gpm and xpm but I'm still losing games in herald. I can tell they are super low skill games but I just don't know what to do to win them. I must be making game throwing decisions.
@@Docwell yeah I've started to try and pressure and push lanes way more. But since I've started doing that, I've showed up to less fights and then my team takes a 4v5 cuz I'm not there or can't be there and then my pushing just ends up making things worse. Since I've started split pushing my win rate has gone down. I love that dota is a hard game but ive played enough (3k hours) to know everyone around me is building dumb items and not coordinating with each other but I'm still throwing just like they are.
@@Docwell yeah that sounds like good advice. Let me know if you want a different replay. I sent one where we won the game and I felt like I did well. I probably should have sent a match that I completely threw and made even more mistakes. This past week I've been on a huge losing streak. Like lose 4 win 1. But I'm not worried about mmr right now I just want to practice.
Player that came back to the game after 5 years and my fave was always TA. Very helpful guide, because the game has changed so much in 5 years that I was completely lost even if she has always been my best chara with over 60% winrate. Will definetly check out other videos!
Holy shit, good content. Problem in lower mmr is that games drag too long and can't capitalize on the early stomp. How do you close the game? Get bkbs while you are ahead and end?
usually by playing the map in a direction than u destroy enemy safe and mid t2, then roshan, then HG with "6"v5 hopefully with a pushing item in ur team like AC and/or on a cata wave and aim to get 1-2 set of racks and/or force buybacks. Either win on the spot or repeat the siege next rosh/get mega. That's the general plan that may need to adapt to enemy heroes, like vs a Sniper i'd say it's better to lure them outside and win a fight then push because he can easily defend megas etc
