Thank you for your thoughts about using percussion effects in worship - I also love them too. Using them with the right purpose, as you said, to emphasize the lyrics, point out transitions and fill the spaces is a blessing. All instruments can be used for vanity and manipulation, when the focus of worship is misplaced.
