Why not use a lower loft club and cut out the nonsense?

My trouble is a inside 50 yard pitch that stops on green generally I either chunk it short or it releases way past hole

I have trouble with short chips (30 to 50 yards), mainly judging distance/power where I need to play the shot with a quarter or a half swing, I think I accelerate harder sometimes and go too big or sometimes not enough and come up too short. I have watched the video on chipping in and what club and where to land but I still seem to get it wrong alot of the time.

Nothing about the two most important things to consider: having a good spinny ball and clean grooves.

Hi guys, thanks for all your videos, very clear and helpful! One request, there are loads of videos for the 50 yard pitch. I think I have that down now. My weakest shot is the 100-150 yard shot. A good drive on a par 4 should be rewarded with a good chance for birdie, but I don't even come close to creating that from above distance. I want to play a low flying high spinning shot from that distance as well. What are the main differences between such a shot and the 50 yard pitch? Thanks!

My biggest short game problem is that I seem to be so scared to get the ball past the hole. I know this because I leave virtually every chip or pitch short. I’m not sure if I bail out on my down swing, or just constantly underestimate the spin that gets put on the ball.

Shallow...deloft with a cut swing and just turn your body through and never let your hands above your belt... For me that creates about 10 feet of height at 30-50 yards and lands checks and spins back to around the carry number

I put too MUCH backspin sometimes.. How do I keep from getting too much backspin?

My nemesis is the short chip out of the rough. A couple inches of grass and maybe 15 paces or less to the pin.

Nothing worse than taking 4 shots from less than 100 yards I do this far to often. I’m a 12 handicap but would be single figures if my short game was better

I think the same principle holds for punch shots from farther. I always try to get so far out in front and end up blading or shanking it. Staying back but keeping the hands in front is the key. great video

You guys are awesome. Love your channel. I’ve learned a ton from your videos. I’m still absolutely terrible. But have definitely learned a lot. It’s just tough really putting it all into practice. But I’m going to continue watching and hopefully improve!
