Thanks for this! I always like using _Dancing Lights_ as I am _Ye Olde Schoole_ AD&D. I wish Bards had a _Colour Spray_ and _Chromatic Orb_ as well, but I think they picked _Dancing Lights_ for the connection with music. I would personally always use songward over masterful performance but that i know is subjective of course, songward can be used to cast songs in the middle of an enemy attack in frontlines since it provides control resistance and a 10% overall damage resist while casting to potentially tank a red circle but not a deep red and you can use encore if you cannot afford to tank the hit and dodge right at the end to avoid damage completely. advancing parry also seems like it has some very high potential when synergized with mount buff survivor's blessing in my humble perspective. if using the ad lib, contre essentially is a block button paired with the mount bonus that factors after damage mitigation to tank a hit and recover i usually hold it full charge or also to use when i get swarmed to buffer and retaliate while tank inevitably needs to reclaim threat , volti setup, because if i am using that setup i am playing as a front liner, i also prefer battlfield ostinato over medley only because i tend to use my at will skills fairly often and i do tend to use fleche and con elemento above all else. As i said i tend to play front line in the general setup, encore is very useful given that it does allow the free recast against bosses in random queue for fights that go into overtime. Lore sometimes to close a deal i will use i otherwise agree with you for sure. ^^ good video. Also what type of insignias are you using on your mount tab? I'm using initiative, evasion and dominance type insignias to augment my forte, and their counterpart stats allowing me to frontline with minimal risks. Deflection does actually allow me to keep attacking with less need to dodge because i do get mobbed a lot due to the damage output Tanks I have to really keep an eye out for how efficient they are given that they can lose threat if i am not careful. I find songblade like an unofficial tank at times. I have my overall build as more all arounder which is unconventional, some chr for two upgrades, dex across the board, con on two updates and strength otherwise to allow me to utilize the jack of all trades functionality, my gems in offense and defense are jade and citrine for deflection and critical strike boosts, at current i have excessive critical strike which i plan to alleviate soon but i'm an uncapped bard thusly and the performance is pretty amazing ^^. Thanks for your guides I didn't even know that bard got buffs i had played it like such before i took a break i only learned new things about the way the mount buffs work recently and that has helped a lot.

Using ballad from quickplay wont get the 10% bonuses to severity and damage every 20 secs 🤔 so you suggest to overplay the elemental song cause its easier to instantly play to keep up buffs?
just get cast the elemental song 10s before the arti call. You should not need the crit severity to max out at 90%. Only the 10% damage is good, but I have not found it worth manually casting ballad of the hero
When enough people have grinded and maxed out their Bards with companions and mounts etc, they will nerf it $$.. Bait and switch is what these thieves are making money from. I'm actually amazed they still have a single customer left!
@@NytLegend none, but they keep nerfing and removing things people have spent time, energy and money on (chultan tiger, xuna etc) its the same pattern every time. They look on statistics to see what item or class they can flip to make money from. Nerfwinter has no place in modern gaming!!
between 87 and 91k nothing really changes. i drop from 90 to 86k when i swap some loadouts. it's not that big a hit. but knowing how to play your class and playing optimally with a good build will yield you a better result than someone who's just using the wrong gear and randomly hitting buttons without knowing the little mechanics that are going on and how to optimize them.
I think Bard and Ranger are 2 of the most in-depth, fun classes you can use. Highest skill ceilings for sure, except maybe cleric since you have to keep control of stacks and not die. Kinda like bard single target now, lol
Right, you do not need to spend anything to get everything in game but It will take a very long time for you to become like the have accurate statistics higher item level characters in the game. If you are ambitious, you will feel obliged to shop at the store and maybe even want to buy diamonds illegally.Yes, money will not give you the necessary equipment, but it will make it easier for you to pave the way to that equipment. I don't know if it's p2w, you think?
It'd pay to progress, but far from pay to win. You need to actually play the game and grind out higher dungeons and trials to get the best in slot gear, rings etc. Money won't buy you loot drops or skill.
It's fair when everyone can use them xD but it's not fair that consoles cannot, and yes it does make actual manual play kinda pointless on PC. I don't really know why the Devs implemented it.

But, if they ever implement cross-platform play on the same server, and abolish such macros, then console players will have more manual skill than PC players. I generally use only the one that changes the At Will, I forget the name, but it's something like 2 4 6 7 2 4 6. You show it in this video. Using your macro is far easier, although as I have all the F1-F11 keys for battle cries, emotes and so on, and the NumPad for VIP functions, I have to use other keys for the Bardsongs. So I use F for the macro, as I use left mouse click to interact. I make all my key binds to be like in _"Daggerfall"_ from 1996. So I need to identify more keys for the other songs! As the Macro needs TAB first, can I also map the macros to the NumPad, so that without TAB I get VIP functions, and with TAB I get the songs? At the moment, I get VIP functions, but when I use TAB I get notes for the song from the same keys. It is odd that a pinned, quick slot song has penalties and are less effective, but the macro doesn't. If it did, people would learn to play the tunes. {:o:O:}

Honestly, I'm tired of the practices of this company, every 3 months a different class is op to get money and time from people, every time they release something it's broken, if they want to continue doing it they have to add a new class, 😅I also remember how after mod 15 they talk about balance, how many years have passed and he is still not there😂😂.
I'm not sure if this is your first MMO or not, but all of these games will ALWAYS have a meta class or item that is overperforming. But it never lasts forever. Every class will be meta at some point or another.
@@Pussmash I've played real mmos before, unlike Neverwinter, WoW and Black Besert, I agree with what you write, but unlike NW, these games are not just bricks, the only cool thing that NW has is the dungeons system, the rest is a failure and the developers are probably garage boys.
bard is in no way currently broken. it's a good class dealing good damage. wizards were dealing a lot of damage due to a BUG and they said as such really quickly that it's bugged. just get over it already smh. the good wizards are still good, they're just not doubling everyone else's dps for no reason now.
