You and another youtuber today have my thanks for inspiring me to play and simplifying the basics for me. Actually found the same brand of washboard in my papaws antique collection today and he let me have it so thanks again for the inspiration
Hey, I have never seen Scary Movie 2, but I was born with a rare birth defect called Poland´s Syndrome. One of the effects is a deformity on a limb. I have had four surgeries on that hand and only have four fingers on it with very limited dexterity on all finger except the thumb. Please check out my other videos. I play banjo, guitar, dulcimer, and many other instruments. It has not stopped me from doing anything.

Thimbles, brother.. Get 'em in a junque shop, cheaper than a fabric store. Bend them to fit on your fingers. Good luck learning, I am doing it now too.
Rooster hits the washboard and people just got to smile, Blinky, thumps the gut bass and solos for a while. Poorboy twangs the rhythm out on his kalamazoo. Willy goes into a dance and doubles on kazoo.
@yony120 It's a washboard ,it is used to wash cloths back in the old days,my mom still uses one for delicate stuff,somebody long ago thought it had a great sound and there you have it. You probably have heard it lots in songs but just did not know what you where hearing,cool eh ! :)
