It is a beautiful game. I still have only played it twice, but I was pleasantly surprised at how interactive it was with players dominating (taking over) other player's wolves or dens.

@@Zaloomination I thought it was a fun game. I know I've heard some concerns about turn order mattering too much at larger player counts. I haven't personally experienced that. But yes, I enjoyed my plays of it! I thought the flipping of tiles was clever because you really have to plan ahead. I agree the howling alpha wolf in the lair was great. Top notch art and production.
Amazing video, thanks for the explanation. I'm confused with the 2 player set up, are we supposed to use the 3 player set up? If that's the case what would be ther 3rd none player be doing?
The 2 player setup and play is a little different, I can't say I actually ever played 2 player. You won't use the central chasm board, but you will place a third "AI" set of Wolves on the board. My mom always told me I talk too quickly. Listening to it I can hear that it sounds like I say “you can’t” but I actually say “you can take”. So you are correct, I just need to speak more clearly.
Haha. Thanks. I think of jokes like that for lots of videos...but I'm not always sure if they're appreciated or just annoying. Half the time I don't put them in cause I figure people are here to learn a game not to be entertained (or hear a joke that isn't entertaining). Anyhow, I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Hi very nice video but on minute 5:20 you built a Den on a hex with an enemy pack wolf, the rulebook states that cannot be built… great video quality btw
Which pieces can share spaces was a bit confusing, I reached out to the publisher for clarification but I still ended up with questions. Looking at the online rulebook Page 10, lower left corner in the yellow box: "dens can be made on a hex with an enemy pack wolf." **Edit. There are 2 versions of the rulebook on BGG. One says "dens can be made" the other says "dens cannot be built." Interesting. I must have looked at an older version of the rulebook when making the video. Thanks for the clarification.
