Sniping and stay behind the island is the play style. Since they increase the spotting rewards and decrease the dmg tanking rewards. There is no point to go to the front line and tanking dmg anymore.
@harrykhunt9179 yeah Still a large amount of ships that never made it past the drawing board, including at least one which we have no idea where the design came from(Roon)
@@harrykhunt9179 well they still need to add new things so that the game evolves. no game will forever be played if it's in the same state all its life. every game company try something different and hope it works, theres not a "do this and the game will be perfect" formula. its good that they try and i personally like what they're coming up with. hopefully we'll see more interesting things like this in the future.
While I understand that the aircraft HE dive bombers are suppose to offset the small amount of main battery guns, I still feel it’s too strong and incentives the wrong kind of gameplay. There should be a limited number of flights the HE bombers can take, much like consumables. Having unlimited flights is just the wrong direction.
The big issue is that Hybrids can literally provide their own spotting like a CV. That is a massively powerful advantage that more than makes up for the (slightly) less main battery guns.
Honestly, honestly, I play mine more like a cruiser and it just honestly takes people by surprise when I crap out and torpedo strike while going head on with them, it’s like jousting, but with cinematic torpedo strikes
Tbh i play Lousiana, Schlieffen and Colombo and even Gouden Leuww Pretty much Like heavy cruisers, A bit defensive First and as soon as a small Gap in their defense Opens ill push in with full Force, gets most Enemies by surprise and they get shredded (DD Torpedo direction guessing is a big part of that strategy). A full geared schlieffen or Colombo in Close combat is devastating. And a Lousiana showing her left side has 9 secondaries that can also deal Respectable damage. Gouden Leuww is mostly a troll ship: Let every 51 seconds a Airstrike down, and Bounce most shells (even most bbs) unless you show your side while Citadel even some BBs like Lion with your 283mm guns.
@@SaiIor_Moon well i can accept tone and ise because they are real ship in history but other... To many hybrid ship make game weird for me, sometime i was thingking is this world of warship or world of warplane😐😐
Watching this as a former player is entertaining but also saddening to see how far it's fallen. The concept of hybrids is pretty neat but the way its carried out and how certain game mechanics work just seem to ruin it.
The keersage would make an excellent hull to enhance my hybrid gametime..i really enjoy this fighting style and think this is great in game. Reaper02222 NA 😊MTIA😅
hybrid aircraft nerfed to unusable. every bomb drop straddles the target with maybe 1-2% chance of a hit, let a lone a fire. fun concept, really was looking for a new game play. crap execution.
Hybrid battleships in reality absolutely sucked. There’s a reason they were never implemented and were relegated to blueprints and designs. When you combine an aircraft carrier and a battleship you get the worst of both worlds. You get an aircraft carrier that cannot launch an effective squadron of planes and a battleship that cannot take a hit and dish out hits. That’s what I don’t like the most about BBVs. People have enough with CVs already and think they should be removed entirely when they’re just mad that WoW isn’t just about battleships and that they can’t just camp islands. In reality carriers utterly dominated the battlefield and rendered battleships obsolete. Hybrid battleships just don’t make sense.
Might as well just go ahead and bring in fucking UFOs that have 360° constant torpedo fire because they're already getting far away from identity of this game
Fullest opinion, adding hybrids to the game is ruining it. Same reason I stopped playing world of tanks all together, I've got a feeling it won't be long and I'll be done with this game too, all wargaming games are the same, pay to win. It's hard to enjoy the ships you actually put hours into getting when your just gonna get demolished by some kid who's mom let's them use her credit card to buy the op premium ships.
