so we install the game on windows 10/11, and then use that folder as a shared folder in winXP?

One question. If I have a game’s ISO file I want to install, do I install it all on windows 11 then use the installed game folder and transfer that to windows XP, or the original ISO file prior to install?

I got my windows XP DVD Game to install and run by: Opening file explorer and hitting 'This PC' Then right click -> Open, once you're looking at the files hold Ctrl and hit A then either right click and hit copy or Ctrl + A, Then making a new folder and hit paste (Or Ctrl + V) , wait for it to get done and then run the setup file. Not all games run but it should at least install the files.

I’d love to play Rayman 2 the Great escape Win-XP version on my windows 11 but don’t know if it’ll work. Its like $6 but I’m scared to buy it. Don’t know if it’ll work. That was my best childhood game.

Everything worked as per your video until the part where I had to restart the Windows XP after updating the device drivers using the Guest Addition CD Image. After updating and restarting the Windows XP, the screen just stayed permanently black after display the Windows XP logo. Couldn't get the Windows to start up. Repeated the process step by step twice, and still does not work for me. I am not sure what went wrong. Windows 11 is really lousy.

I think you have deleted the virtual machine folder or you had used external hard disc for XP installation. Reinstall XP

I need to do this for work purposes.... I read instructions ...one point I am unsure of... do you need a windows xp disk to install or does win xp come directly from (is provided by) virtual box? Thank You !
