Welcome back to Ghost Recon Breakpoint. In this video I will be explaining how to play with the new AI teammates that recently come into the game as I had a few comments asking about it and I will also be testing them a bit to see how good they are and give my thoughts & opinions as it took the developers 9 months to bring them into the game. I like you completely ran into the middle of about fifty guys at melee range and then complained when the ai got killed. That was my favorite part of this video. Great job!!

Right? Like how is he going to blame the AI for dying when he's the leader and he runs headfirst into a majorly overwhelming enemy force? This isn't a Rambo game, it's Ghost Recon. The AI is great for stealth and symc shots, and they've saved my ass a few times, like when I was in cover trying to heal a severe injury and an enemy flanked me and was about to kill me, but one of my teammates took him out just before he started shooting

ive played with Ai teamates and went loud and did fine. I also used cover and was strategic and didn’t just run in guns blazing.

Sometimes they are smooth sometimes it gets sloppy. You gotta give them the right guns though. They dont use the second weapon at all. You can't have one sniper. They dont use the grenade launchers and you the stealth isn't all. You gotta tell them stay back for stealth alot

I think the intention was to incorporate AI teammates, but intentionally buff them down a bit so that they don't swarm over every firefight and make players feel like spectator's rather then participants. That being said - I'd really appreciate a slightly more complex Order wheel that allowed players to issue specific orders to specific teammates. That kind of in-depth menu might be cumbersome in a firefight, but I think it would add at least another facet to the AI teammates.

It was tacked on just like the AI teammates so that's why it's not as good as the wheel Wildlands had.

Change their weapons. The shotgun and smg are basically useless to cover you. I did that and honestly they did carry me through a mission. I did an assault rifle, lmg, and kept the sniper.

Great news finally this gives me hope, as I'm typing this I'm downloading the team mates update. Now hopefully I'll have the much needed help I need to destroy the last behemoth tank then storm Walkers base for the kill, this mission has really been kicking my arse wish me luck!

Agreed. Definitely change their weapons. Once you do that, the game becomes much better. I plowed through the recent Resistance event missions pretty quickly once I did that.

Bruh if you play on immersive experience all advantages no disadvantages: better health, damage they pick you up they follow you they co-operate and they are accurate

I also hate the flying drones in this game, they ruin the game, but the ai teammates in a game like Breakpoint are more about you the player issuing them strategic commands and micro managing them, think of them as sophisticated drones with limited ai

This video freaked me out - I literally just re-installed this game LAST NIGHT hahaha. So seeing this my first thought was "I know I didn't talk about this game at all on this pc, how would the algorithm know I did!?"

@Bourbon Freeman Oh wow, I didn't know that! Now I'm worried about later. I actually bought the game (physical) when it came out and didn't like it. I LOVED Wildlands. The lack of AI, the PITA drones, and just overall ... meh.... Well I set it aside to trade in. Then it got buried on my coffee table lol and I forgot about it. Then quarantine. Anyway, they added AI back in and my friend who continued to play it on and off said it was much better. So then last night I dug it out and installed it. Thought it best to start from scratch and made it to the cave/hub as of last night where you unlock the AI. So next up is when I get to determine whether I like it better or not.

The cleared hot order truelly looks like "run down without cover" mode... I clearly see my teammates not using cover while they had a cleared look on the enemy and actually could take them down. Main problem is than priority of ai when asking them to fire is not to find a cover, its to shot at the enemy, whatever the situation is, and THEN, once there is no one to fire on, run down to find another enemy, and start shooting at him instantly after noticing him, without even trying to find a cover. The Division 2 AI is actually more logic than this one, which is pretty dumb x'D

All I want now is the ability to not have drones. Plus changing/improving ballistics. Make it more of a console milsim. Sure people can disagree. But it’s optional. You can have those settings at your discretion.

I barely touched the game when it first came out, to many bugs, and only done about 7% of the main story so I picked it up today to use the AI’s I gave them all AR’s and kept my TAC50, those 7 shot sync shot are pretty cool to use.. The live event is out for 3 week I believe and I’d completed it in 2 hours if that, it’s a lot like those faction missions.. rewards are crap apart from the launcher you get at the end, if you played Wildlands you could call in a missile air strike from the resistance fighters, the launcher does exactly that, you mark the target with it and there you go.. but they should of added the AI’s from launch with the option to turn them on and off like now..

Yep. I plowed through the event missions rather quickly thanks to the AI teammates. Changed their default weapons and that helped a lot.

Wildlands got me excited to play to play AI on Breakpoint. Disappointing so far. Getting to the order wheel is clunky and time consuming (especially if you are in a heated battle). Sync shots is not as I end up placing my beacons on random stuff trying to mark my targets. And the AI run in guns a blazing making it hard to sneak in

@@gamingchannel4795 Well, it was put in as an afterthought and was never supposed to be in the game in the first place so that's why not much effort was put in for their programming. The fact they added it after much criticism shows it should have been in the game to start with.

I'd love if the game gave us th3 option to make them move to different positions and not all be in The same position as in let's say one guy on a building other on the road and another one beside me. I wish that was an option

I tried the AI teammates. Needs an option to give each soldier a command. Such as frag rocket launch or execute a certain person.

The only thing they can do right is sync shot everything. But from what I've noticed that they never move to get a clear shot. The marked guy just gets a heart attack and die. Other than that they are a good thing to distract the enemy

Man. To play this game on launch month, push myself through hell and beat it, then see the day that AI teammates arrive months after, it's a bit refreshing. They fixed the game and made it a tad bit better. While there are still some issues, it's at least way better than how it was in October.

@@Born2Game I mean yes, but I was just looking back at how horrible the launch was with the bugs and microtransactions and how Ubisoft got backlash for it. They changed.

@@yo-nq9wr Yeah playing it today, I'm enjoying it way more. The AI are fantastic and it no longer feels tedious to me like it did on launch. I missed the banter the OG AI had in Wildlands, but I still love how they function in combat. Even the events and DLC are cool.

I found that if you play on the hardest difficulties and also stay stealthy the ai teammates never die.

A.I are sorta broken/buggy, when doing a mission that go’s underground they don’t follow you, which is annoying, they still shoot threw walls or from a LOS (line of sight) that makes no sense, I play on realistic with all the hardest settings thier still very good at tanking not as bad as wild, but they’re ok they can res you or be a free/extra sync shot but it also it gives you the ability to play the medic class as a solo which is a nice bonus I would like if they gained benefits from the skill system or added some skills for them but in my opinion they don’t add too much

the reason why the AI sucks is becuase you need to change their weapons they have starter weapons but if you have blue prints you can give them the weapon of your blueprint like if i have a blue print of a m4a1 i can give them a m4a1

While I admit I have some problems with this game and how they made it, your AI teammates SHOULD die when you just run into a fully fortified base like that. If they survived and killed half the guys while you killed the rest in that manner it would be just as STUPID. When they're used right and the game is played somewhat as intended they're kind of useful.

My Ai has 2 assault rifle a sniper. I've taken dwn wolfs that are way over my level at 200 plus and I synced shot drones the moving drones does so much dps

Their default weapons suck. I gave Fury the TAC-50 sniper and the other two LMGS. This increases the body count of the enemy considerably. They are still bad at using cover and love running into the bullets of mini-gunners when you go hot. Also vulnerable to snipers and auto-mated defenses. On the plus side using your synch shot drones combined with the team you can get 7 quick kills. I also like how they tag/ mark everything not just enemies.

Worked as intended right...AI teammates are just bullet sponges with built in hit registration issues and 2 out of 3 have issues with using their weapons.

I'm fairly new have not touched main missions been doing side stuff looting camps levelling up echelon rank 9 nearly 10 haven't touched pvp working on Sam fishers missions trying to get his outfit

Honestly it’s still not the same as wildlands as sure the functionality is there but there’s no personality one of the things I loved about the AI squad in wildlands was the back and forth banter you’d hear going from location to location and listening to their conversations or even when interrogating enemies they have nothing to say even though the Sicarios in wildlands did I guess I just miss the banter really and they dynamic of the squad

Is there no way to give singular commands to separate squad members? In the video they made it seem like you could have one member give sniper fire but I can’t seem to figure out how without having all three of them follow the same order?

You're ghost lead, you're supposed to go tactical and strategical plan your attack with the least risk of death for your teammates. It's actually nice to see that you fail playing like this. I never cease to push my friends to put up difficulty and reduce helpers like detection clouds so they have to play in a manner that is actually fun. Funny enough, almost everyone has more fun eventually like that.

Just no. You’re pushing people to increase difficulty, not have fun. You have fun playing like that but it doesn’t mean others will. You have your opinions which is fair enough but that’s it, it’s an opinion and you’re playing a video game so play how you want. I paid for my copy so I will play how I want, if I wanted a realistic shooting experience I wouldn’t be playing video games

I took my A.I. off they're more of a hindrance than help, these should have been here at release of the bloody game now now everyones left to play other stuff... and ffs unlock Golom Island so we can play it and get rid of the crap Raid.

Lol you can't lead them into a corridor with no cover and a vehicle with a mini gun at the end of the of it and expect them to survive. They are effective if you put them in a good spot clear hot while you attack from behind or the side. Still have to use strategy.

Idk they work for me sometimes they kill more guys than I do. It's the same as wildlands. Wish there were more commands too but you can do plenty with those three comands. Assault bases that I probably would have to stealth by myself

Again Wildlands like Idiotic AI Teammates...that actually was expected...next more update require tot make things proper way..when I command them to move specific locations they walked through inside the enemy compound rather than outside and nicely spotted and element of surprise was over..and generally they place them selves close to enemy locations instead of hiding themselves and take good cover...there's difference between the command Fire and Attack...Fire means engage enemy from the current positions with out moving and anywhere..take cover and engage enemies from the current position...Attack command must be moving towards the enemy locations with fire and movements and engage them....but when I issues order clear them out the run towards the enemy locations and started fire fights..this command must be divided into two different way like I said here FIRE & ATTACK...still hope for the best

Youre not doing it right. Choosing easy difficulty only affacts you, the enemies still have the same attributes towards your AI team... Anyways i tested it out on veteran difficulty, and my teammates are pretty good. That sync shot is kinda cheap.. even if your guys dont have a direct sight of the enemies they can just kill them... as if the enemies had a heart attack.. Im just glad they added this.
