Guys i got to tell you about this amazing ebook i read about fear its called forget about football fear play the game, after i read that my season was better and better i started scoring goals making assists my season was great,if you struggle with this like i was i deeply recommend you to read that
Hey dude I'm looking for it right now, but if you could possibly let me know where you got it from and if it's still available on the said site? or maybe link it here that would be amazing! Thanks, dude and even though we are complete strangers from one another I wish you the best in your soccer journey man and I hope you'd be able to help me out on mine too brother
My main problem is that I play my best football with ease when I play against people who I know are worse than me but when I play against people who I THINK are better than me , I cannot control my nerves and then I make mistakes
I was bullied by my teacher, and it made me very shocked, lost confidence, and I had no more enthusiasm to be a professional player. But after I watch this video, I became aware that bullying could be an encouragement for me to be better, and continue to fight to become a professional player. Thank you Unisport.
I’m scared to even play in the playground at school cause if I make mistakes my team always shouts at me (not in a positive way) but if they make mistakes it’s all fine to them
I've always told myself that there's no need to be scared if you know you're good enough. Often, as harsh as it sounds, those with mentality issues are often those who struggle to accept that they're just not good enough - and want a surefire solution to eradicate their mental blockage without putting the hours required to do that on the training ground. Confidence is only attained through skill becoming instinctual. That's my take on it at least.
same, luckily I have 2 good friends in the team that I always look to after I mess up because they are the only ones saying to move on and that it's ok
@@aryanmisra8351 Yeah we never yell at them but tuey always yell at us an that makes me want to sit out and not play since I was sad ad don't want to be shouted at anymore
@@vicsgames3303 I know this game is for fun people get too competitive just let everyone enjoy and everyone makes mistakes. Even my coach this year yells at me so much when I make a small mistake and now I am never confident. When everyone is nice to me I get way more confident and play very well.
It’s great to see Pontius in the video, few weeks ago I saw him in enter the pitch and scored an incredible header against my city Rotor Volgograd... I was proud I knew him and I told my friends about him
Honestly I'm usually always scared b4 my training as well because I'm always TERRIFIED of getting shouted at by my coach and making mistakes and letting my team down and that is the main reason why I usually play very safe and don't take risks anymore. And even tho I tell myself that I should enjoy the football and training process because I'm doing something I love, I eventually become scared and stiff again and I really hope yo overcome this soon. I hope to be able to play without fear of get told off or scolded by my coaches because its all part and parcel of playing football and it is an experience which no one can run away from. As a result of this, I'm working on building my courage so that I can give it my all out there and show my coaches what I'm really made of. Whatever happens, it's always okay to be scared or fearful but it's what you do with that fear is what matters. Eventually, you are going to have to showcase your skills and talent. SO CHANNEL YOUR FEAR GUYS. CHANNEL IT TO MOTIVATE YOU. CHANNEL IT TO GETTING PAST YOUR MOST FEARED DEFENDER. CHANNEL IT TO TACKLING YOUR STRIKER AND CHANNEL IT TO DIVING YOUR BUTTS OFF TO STOP THAT MISSILE SHOT AND CHANNEL IT TO WINN!!!!!
I really enjoyed what you guys said about focus on the small wins to build up confidence for the big wins. So many people overlook their small accomplishments in a game and just focus on that missed goal where they were Playing well the whole match. This later on becomes a problem for your confidence. It's baby steps before you can run.
I am researching on this topic for 5 days I have watched many many videos and that time I feel confident but when the match starts I am back to the old me and making silly mistakes and becoming very nervous. I know how to be confident but not able to do it in the game 💖
Hello amigo, i think you have done a good job acknowledging your weakness and searching for solution, however, you are forgetting an important point which is, you will never get it right the first time. As a player i used to be scared of heading the ball while defending and also attacking, i was 6,4 and i used to blame myself for not helping my team when it comes to the airball. So i went and did some research on how to master heading and remove fear of heading the ball. Watched close to 9 videos of this topic. However when it was game time, my fear would come back and when i jumpforthe ball i deliberetly dunk my head to miss the ball. My coach analyzed my game and he gave me one advice which i think you would benefit from it which is; do not set the bar high for yourself when you are learning something for the first time. Simply he meant, do not think or tell yourself you gonna get it right the first time, try it again and again and again. And surely my fear for heading is now my biggest advantage, my last game is cleared 3 headers and scored 1 goal from 14 yards. So dont set the bar high for yourself at th beginning, do it multiple time and you will thank yourself. Thanks for reading my short little story hope you overcome that fear you and anyone facing this problem.
This is going to help my boost my confidence playing for u13 at 10 years old. Sometimes I feel scared to take a shot because if I miss my teammates might get mad. Team ( Billund, Denmark)
I started late at football (at 16) and was behind most of my school peers. Even in causal after school games, I was always choosen last when people are picking a team. It was mentally difficult to overcome the opinions of my peers, but I always thought I can be better than what I was. I kept playing even till now (34 this year), and still try to keep the mindset that I still have a lot of room to improve, even after improving a lot through the years. Predominantly playing as a forward in 5 a side futsal, there so many times i was forced to play at defense, and i am struggling to play out a ball and have control in midfield. This is what I am going to work on in my game now, facing my fear of getting pressured with the ball.
bro i am a striker i practice 6 hrs every day i wanna be a pro finisher right now i am 16this channel helped me a lot i love jottler and jay you are my favorites ❤❤
bro when the ball is shot at me i get scared and close my eyes cuz i am afraid of getting hurt and i try to overcome it but i just cant do you have any advice
Before watching this video I was scared of playing football with my friends in school but when I saw this video It gave me the confidence to work harder and since then I have become a better player entirely from being the worst to one of the best in my class. Thank you so much Unisport!
it happens often to new people playing with others that you dont know i just changed my football team and i started to be nervous because i always knew i was more of a acomplishing player but my first training with others made me feel like im the worst on the pitch but it gets better later on since you will get used to their playing style which will make you feel confident with the ball stay strong bro
Yes this is big I used to have this problem when my team would play against certain teams that were veery good or individuals. I would always get scared and screw up. My teammates would always yell at me and etc. My coach would get mad me. I started working on these things and since then I've become a much better, confident and overall better player. My mental, emotional and physical health since then has increased tremendously. My tip is to not worry about messing up and just work hard, be a good teammate and the most important people thing to forget when they plat soccer. They are so nervous and anxious to mess up. They forget to have fun! It is very important to enjoy what you do! Thanks for reading this comment and have a amazing day ❤. You got this and don't give up 👍💯🏆🐐
I’m playing at a pretty high level in a mature football right now, but I think I’m going to a team which is lower, because sometimes football is really stressful, and I even have stress in trainings
i was bullied by some boys at my football academy. i lost all my confidence, had no more enthusiasm to be a professional player, felt like giving up... But now after watching this video, i am aware that bullying can be an encouragement for me to be better, and continue to fight and achieve my goals and to become a successful professional player like my idol Mo Salah. Thank You So Much Unisport! I hope you're gonna make many more inspirational video's for people like me, who are suffering all of this.
when i was younger i got bullied for being bad at playing and i rarely even touched the ball i left the club and tried training on my own with a player that was near my level we acomplished alot and became great we were a good duo and i easily beat my former teams best player then i came back to the club and played there for a bit then changed
I also loose confidence in the pitch especially during finals and near thousands of people , I just get one touch nd change my wing lol , thanks to this video I know learnt something
this video helped me because i always say nice try to my teamates but never try to get the ball because im afraid of screwing up and getting told that i suck
I'm from the Philippines. Football is not popular and declining due to lack of media representation but I see myself as a solution to the problem where I have potential skills as a defender. I hope I can be scouted or given a chance to play for a professional football club someday in the future. No matter the odds are against, I have a huge amount of bravery and courage to beat it! I see myself as a future professional football player. I believe that I am the best defender....... BECAUSE I'M THE BEST DEFENDER OF MY LIFE! 🇵🇭⚽
I have never played a 90 minute game of football before and I have my first game on Sunday! I suffer with social anxiety and I am trying to force myself into uncomfortable situations like this weekend! I took the plunge last week and signed up with a local team, I'm playing CB as I thought it would mean less running 😂 Any advice would be appreciated guys, it's mainly my stamina I'm worried about! I have played before but never competitively! And the last time I played I sprained my ankle 😭
Keep things simple and be aware of your surroundings. Communicate with your team mates in game or even talk to them to get comfortable. Stamina is going to come with training and playing each game, hopefully you will have time to rest between each play. Can probably walk or jog when not involved in a play. Keep your head up, don't too much about making a mistake, you can learn from them to get better.
Unisport/Jay....Thanks. This is your best video yet. All levels of athletes should watch this short but informative video. Thanks again!!! Maybe more videos on the mental part of sports as it seems to be overlooked for fancy footwork.
My Dad was very harsh when it come to my Football. I was really good when I was young and My Dad always picked on my mistakes and told me I have no talent, useless , etc. Everyday was the same, no matter how good I played scoring goals, dribbling, it just wasn't enough for him. I started losing my passion for football and even today I really Hate football so much. The fear of making mistakes and having my dad beat th shit outta me bc of it really made me Lose all love the sport. Found this video pretty helpful. Hopefully I get that passion back
My main problem is this: I know a lot of things how to do, however when I’m playing soccer for some reason I can’t perform everything that I know, maybe it’s because I’m not confident in myself. Thanks for making this video. I’ll be better at soccer and I’ll show everything what I can do in front of everyone at the soccer practice as well as during the game. When I’m playing by myself I’m doing well, but when I’m playing in team I’m doing not the best
I'm 15 yrs old and Im from America. I needed this video so badly because I get so preassured. In practice, I do really well but in games I am so bad and it looks like I don't know how to play football. THX UNISPORT AND HOPEFULLY I CAN DO WELL IN GAMES SCORE THE GOALS.
Football game is all about your mentality, all u need is to prepare your mind and say to urself that you are the best on the pitch before the match starts
I always joke around and try too shake the other players hands and stuff before the games, it makes me comfortable like I’m playing with friends and it makes me play ALOTTTT better. If I can’t shake their hands I joke around and have fun anyways, too be the best player you can be you gotta have fun!
I main problem in football is that I play very well at home and against my brother but when I am playing against my little cousins,in school and other places, I just feel pressure, too much pressure and fail. My brain completely shuts off when I am planning football on my school field. I then made uncountable mistakes and get heavily abused by my classmates. Not because, I don't know how to play but because of the pressure and my belief on the pitch that I am not good and I would always make a mistake. Also, playing most especially in my school, I usually don't feel like myself, I feel different usually. I am feeling right now that I am a flop.😭😭
I'm a goalkeeper but at a beginner level. While playing the game, I constantly have a fear of giving a goal instead of stopping the football. This thought makes it very difficult for me to focus on the game, it makes me demotivated. So can you give some tips for goalkeeping without this fear?
When I was 15 I used to play in u18 and was very afraid to do my things that's why I just pass the ball ...but now I'm very confident and captain of u 18
My main problem is when I play with close friends or siblings. I have no problem or even when I play for fun, but when I play a actual match I forget all my skills I can’t control the ball
A talented footballer is just an understatement to who i am. This is not pride but an explanation of my capabilities. Fear is gradually setting into me and the dream of going pro because i have lacked support to show the world what I've got. How can i overcome this problem?
Some times I have some fear when I play football but after this video I have no fear thanks unisport now I can play any match with no fear and thanks again this helped me alot and I'm I'm boy
Im a defender and i make the silliest mistakes cuz i think im playing with players better than me and i now ill concede, making me not lunge in for the tackle and let him run past but ill try my best next game
I am a year 10 and this helped, i play the best at the training, but at the matches im ussualy afraid, its kinda beacuse of im playing with my teamated ALL OF THEM and alote of my teamates dont pass and get angry very easily once named lucas and he just blames everyone the 2nd reason is probally bc of you probally never faced the players before and dont know what their weak spot is, and yea i am afraid of making mistakes but recently ive been better at matches bc of this video im scoring 3/4 goals every match and defend alote Thanks!
Honestly I love football so much but I can’t go to a football club because training and matches are always on weekend morning and I have classes on Saturday and Sunday mornings every week. It’s just so sad because I am great at football and can do well if I get the chance. I only get to play in school because I live in a flat and have no garden. The pain is so bad. 😢
I moved house and moved to a different town. I had to play for a different club and it was also there in that club I played my very first match. My coach told me that your first game is gonna be against your old town club and my heart was racing 😭😭 Out of all the games, has to be my very first against my old town club
I highly recommend mindful meditation, it helps with not being in your head too much, also helps with deactivating the fight or flight mode caused by the amigdela, it also shrinks it allowing you to cope with the pressure, also visualize daily, you need to train the mind
@Sayan Roy has a point the upper body is often neglected and it’s extremely important to everything, from your fakes, to your running, balance, jumping, to fending off defenders or attackers, etc...
