I've been following your work for a long time. I am from Brazil, I am polishing tanks and aluminum wheels in a truck. I also have difficulties when I find services in tanks and wheels that are very thick that I need to sand, and I also wanted to be without any risk that all the risks that the polishing wheels leave
Awesome video Sammy. We use a very similar approach on our own three tri-axle Pete coal haulers. Your work is very neat, also what is the name of the background music you use? It's kind of addictive!
Zane thanks for the comments we appreciate it we use the mineral spirits from Home Depot they have two types one of them is a green environmentally friendly let's papers less corrosive less VOC. It's with in clolor
I'm just a mere company driver out of Canada, but damn would I love to have my Pete's stainless and aluminum polished like that on a regular basis. Great video and subscribed for sure.
Zeviander hi and thanks for the vote of confidence I really appreciate that if you're ever in the states stop on by will hook it up and thanks for the following have a blessed day
Hi Sammy is paint thinners the same as mineral spirits hard to get mineral spirits where i am and can you use mineral turpentine to do the the clean up.
Look at paint thinners look at percentage of minerals spirits in it try to buy the one that says 100 percent mineral spirits basically same thing but some have more than others
+Sammy Bulgara i agree..when im teaching someone how to cut i always tell em 90 percent of the time you have to sand the bottom part of the grill because if the pitting.
+Kevin Johnson He and thank you for watching our videos, I'm glad you enjoyed them, hay we use 2 things when we finish one is our signature metal polish ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-dHdHV2WjHPU.html the other is mineral spirits witch you can get at home depot.
Really been enjoying all your videos! Thanks for taking the time to create them. I've definitely learned a lot. A few questions ... Why do you wipe down with mineral spirits? Would you consider running the buffer on the stainless steel grill? (I've got little specs of rust I'd like to remove) Would it be safe to do the same steps on the chrome bumper or air breathers?? Is it effective to dilute purple powers aluminum brightener 12:1? What about muriatic acid? Is that a no no for cleaning aluminum??
Hello and thank you for the comments well we use mineral spirits to clean all the contamination from all the different buffing material leaves behind and second question yes we would use a buffer on the stainless steel because it just looks better
Hello and sorry for the delay, Im glad your finding our videos useful, well to answer your questions we wipe down with the mineral spirits to remove all the contaminates left behind from all the buffing and polishing, as for your other question , it sounds like your grill is chrome and not stainless steel , I think this because you said it has a little rust on it , stainless steel does not rust so make sure it is stainless ok good luck
He didn’t talk much and I like that , But when he did say something I couldn’t make out what he was saying it was always someone off camera running a Grinder ! The off camera Loud Grinding Sound is distracting and Annoying!!
