I know it's a bit of a long shot can you remember who you got your keys off of when you carried out this modification because I've done the same with mine I'm gonna need some keys cuts to fit the fobs.?

Awesome work here. I do have a 1999 Porsche Boxster S. Currently i have the following problem with the Boxster. It cranks over with a No Start. I had a critter that got into the trunk and may have bit through some wires or it could be the CrankShaft Position Sensor. I have followed several videos here on RU-vid with No Luck in starting the car. When I bought the car, the FOB Key would start the car but i could not set the alarm or lock the car, except from the inside using the power lock button on the dashboard. The previous owner had a a key made without a chip, which is what i had been using up until the current situation. I figured, its a convertible and if someone tried to break in, well at least nothing would be broken with the top open. Once all is back to operational, I may order the device you show here on the video. Thanks again for the great job detailing your work. Look forward to more videos. Be safe Stay healthy. The trick to heat shrinking without cutting wires is to slice the heat shrink, place it over the wire, then superglue it (carefully, so it doesn't stick to the wires). After a few minutes, it will be sealed, and you can heat it up to shrink it, as usual.

Hi mate me again. Today I fitted a remote control to my 2001 boxster. It was the basic one just central locking seems to be working well. Just like to thank you again for your videos on this. I followed your instructions without that information would of taken me ages to work it out! I can't understand why you haven't had a lot more views as this problem with the older boxster remote seems to effect so many. Cheers.

Hi mate just watched your boxster videos very good thanks I will probably have to do the same on mine for the central locking having tried every possible way to restore the original Porsche system from info on internet. Obviously a bad, unreliable design from new as so many have this problem! Anyway thanks again.
