@RockPainting101 lots of art sub reddit sites. I have a question. With paint pouring do you have to mix the floetrol with the white base coat. Or just a white dry surface

I have placed my rocks on soda bottle caps, the little cups that come with cough medicine, and a wire baking rack before pouring. They turn out nice, but are stuck to whatever I have them sitting on. Am I pouring to heavy, should I be trying to move them before they dry, what am I doing wrong?

I always move mine onto parchment paper to dry once the main paint has dripped off. Then after the sit for a little bit come back and give them a little wiggle to smooth out any pooling on the bottom (if there is any).

Is it floetrol that creates the cells?

You will occasionally get a few with Floetrol, but not many. There are a couple products that can be added if you want cells. Oils, silicone etc... I have a post with some tips for that - rockpainting101.com/pour-painting-recipe/
