thank you so much.. I have embroidered for decades but this will make doing applique lettering so much easier. I spent way to much time hand cutting today. Love my embroidery machines and my Silhouette!
Your video just saved me $$ from "wanting" to buy a Scan n Cut!! I have Sew What Pro, a Silhouette and a Brother embroidery machine. Wanting to cut occasional fabric for applique, templates, etc. This is great. Thank you.
This is the best video I've seen for this. All others just show how to create the svg. You've shown the full process so it's really clear what to do. Many Thanks 😊
Thank you for this video, I have recently been blessed with a silhouette Cameo 4 and I have no idea what to do with it. I look forward to Moore videos from you.
Thank you so much for this video. I have SWP and Silhouette Business Edition so your steps will definitely work for me. I prefer my applique designs done with tack downs and stitches for embroidery designs and save my heat and bond ultra hold for my no sew applique designs. I guess I would've to cut the offsets for my designs to be able to tack it down.
Great tutorial and very clear on all the steps. Based on your business experience with the Silhouette Cameo 4 so far, would you recommend it for a business investment? I keep deciding to get one, then talking myself out of it! LOL!
I think it depends on what you plan to use it for. If you're planning to cut small decals, htv for shirts, applique fabric like shown, it would be sufficient. It is one of the easier ones to use IMO. But you can get a bigger or more upgraded plotter for the same or less $$ by going with a (slightly) less user-friendly machine. I actually have a video I need to finish editing on a 34" cutter I have now (but I've never tried cutting fabric with it yet).
Hello, Thank you for a very useful video. May i ask about the no show polymesh please? i can only find the Brothread polymesh in the UK at the most on amazon, and do you think that this is ok to use? i am worried about it shrinking after washing. Any advice would be great. Thank you Regards, Ann.
Thank you so much Ashley. I’m so so happy I found you. I bought a PR60011 and I was so intimidated by it. I have watched you with yours and have learned from you. I’m only interested in doing grandchildren, family and friends embroidery for now. I want to buy a magnetic hoop for it, do you have any suggestions what size or what kind or what kind do you have? Thank you so much and god bless you and your family.
I'm so glad to help with the PR600, it can be a little different than the newer models that many show. I like the 8x9" mighty hoops for kids shirts 2T and larger. They do make a 7.25" one that would fit smaller sized shirts better (I do not have this yet).
Thanks! The fabric was originally purchased at a local fabric store but the line of fabric is discontinued/out of print 😫. I do not recall the actual name now.
Hi, I transfer the embroidery file directly via cable to my machines, but many people use a jump drive. I do not transfer any image, it would be the same embroidery file used with or without precutting the fabric and same process to transfer.
