I'm the same age as you (genesis) and I wanted to learn to do acrylics I'm just not allowed to wear them so it's like once I'm able to wear them I can just do my own acrylic

in my opinion she has incorrectly stuck the tips onto the practice hand. you dont need to do that. all you need is blutak to hold the nail in the bed, then acrylic the top. because she has really stuck the tips down, you will need to either file the whole thing off, or file off the bulk then place in acetone to remove product. I am not sure how the practice hand will hold up to acetone. I have never stuck down my tips on my practice hand, ive just slid them in , that way I can just pull them out and slide in new tips for the next practice.

Mine is barely used because I saw all the other ones on RU-vid AFTER I bought it and they all have caves to shove the nails into or snap ons and I was trying to practice with double sided tape with full nail tips😂😂😂😂 she m DEF helped this ratchet self learner here 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

I feel you 1000% I’ve been eyeing some silicon hands for a month or so now definitely going to make the switch. I practice on myself more than the hand honestly

I wouldn’t recommend this method because this is exactly what I did and they did NOT pop off. I had to cut them down and use my drill to get them off without damaging the beds. So I had to go on a hunt on YT to find another method and there’s another video where she uses several coats of base get first.

If you have the brown hand you can buy another pack and talk the others of and just put the others on

Yes it was the brush but only the metal part. If your brush is wood it can definitely warp but if it’s strong plastic, metal or just the metal portion of the brush it should be fine. It helps guide the monomer so I doesn’t spill all over the table

I remove them each time so I don’ have to drill down all of that acrylic before the next set 😊

I got this one from my local beauty supply store. It’s a bit rigid, the fingers don’t really move but there are hands that have joints as well. They run about $50 at most beauty supply stores
