Final year med student here. Thank you very much for the clear explanation. We were taught how to prescribe VRIII but watching how you prepare it and administer it makes everything less confusing. Much appreciated!

How can one improvise insulin infusion in settings where infusion pump is not available?

I think you would use the drop factor calculations as you do blood transfusions with no pumps
