Great information! As a postal worker myself, I'm glad you made these videos. Registered Mail is the most secure process of sending valuable documents and material within and outside the US.

Glad to help. I feel you, Believe me everyday I can still see people are struggle and hesitant to ask. don't know what to do. I hoping that people can see my videos before going to Post Office they are prepared and ready. Postal Clerks are very very happy to help you if everything is ready for processing.

I'll add that if you use a permanent marker be sure to cover all markings with clear packing tape or the addresses will become unreadable if package were to get wet. I've seen it happen many times. -Retired postal worker.

good and yes, I always suggest my customer to cover some on the address line or put address on the other side for back up. but mostly people don't want to do it when I suggest something.

Oh! I thought this was how to do it for 0.02 or 0.03 sent stamps. There is a way to use the prepaid mail way.

They used to do the tape for me until today when I went in they refused to do it and they didn't even have tape. I had to go get some tape, what the heck? The most secure mail and they don't even have tape at the USPS? I paid $30 I think I was overcharged.

You can add on a restricted recipient name that is extra service. It will not deliver without the recipient I.D match.

Sorry for late reply. Yes you can send it without name but keep in registered mail is signature required and slow delivery.

Registered mail is required signature confirmation, cost $13 just to additional service for your item. Whereas, regular or ordinary mail is cheap with stamp in it and good to go.

That isn't the tape used for registered mail...USPS will NOT accept that! The stamp they use rubs off on that tape 👍👍

It is the brown paper tape they used. The red eye stamp will still stick on it.

@@simplyshare1941 wrong!!! I send registered mail all the time to send valuable items to auction houses to sell. This is not the correct tape. The correct tape needs to have water applied to the back to stick. Is what it is...

There are two kinds of tape the one with tape on the back and non-stick we have to apply water to it. Which we don’t like to use because it takes time for us to get the item done. I bet your local Post Office so proud of you because you know what you doing and you get your item ready.

hello there, this is Marketing question. If I where you try to check on USPS.com official website. I am not really familiar with Marketing process. May I ask about your product? If it is oversize or over 70 lbs. I don't think Post Office will go further for discussion.
