This is PART 1 of 'How To Prepare For The Round A World Trip'. In this video I'm sharing some tips and answering the most common questions I've been asked about finances, documentation, health, accommodation and food.
In April 2017 I left Australia for a solo trip around the world on a BMW F800GS. I named it “Are We There Yet”, because I don't know my final destination or the duration of this journey. This is PART 1 of 'How To Prepare For The Round A World Trip'.

Also having two passports works on your advantage when getting visas. I have usa and mexican passports and teavel a lot too. When i need a visa the fees for visas are different on each passport. Usually usa passport is the most expensive, as a retaliation to the fee usa charges to proses a visa, most of the times i use the mexican passport to process the visa and i use them randomly to cross borders. Sometimes with mexican I don’t need visa and sometimes the american one waves me a visa. Great trip, congrats!

Something about your story seems quite familiar and relatable. I've embarked on a motorized adventure once I was fed up with putting myself last, things falling apart in my life, and settling for less than I dreamed of. So I told myself the exact thing: "It's now or never. NOW is the time" I've not yet got to the point of organizing that long trip around the world I've been dreaming of, but went on plenty of solo adventures and each one has been filled with amazement, challenges, inner happiness and meeting good people who might as well be guardian angels. You're doing what many of us only dare dream about and we have plenty to learn before we do it ourselves. That was a brilliant video - very informative and I am sure motivational for anyone thinking about travelling. One thing I would add - some people may be afraid of starting with such a high target as a round the world trip, especially if they have never travelled far before. Most people have not explored their own country, so a "round the country" trip may be a good place to start and get a feel for life on the road, unless you live in a tiny country of course :-)

WOW your editor is doing a wonderful job. In my travels I despise paying just to pitch a tent for 3-7 hours. Unless I need to clean up, it's always free for me. Good info where to start with documentation, and border ordeals🖖🤘

Very informative to plan a trip. @ 17:10 you mentioned the electricity problem in Ethiopia. That’s why we Ethiopian’s are very serious about the construction of the #GERD. SAFE RIDE in all your journey!

best overland advice on you tube. I did London to Dubai alone on a T120 and had a budget of 50 euros a day camping most nights and cheap hotels in places like Iran. best advice you shared was just go, its not that scary if you trust your gut to keep safe

Kinga you are a star! Very informative video-a fantastic reference for anyone contemplating large scale travelling. Editing is a lot of work and your fear is that what you think is ok may not be what viewers find entertaining. Regardless of whether you do the editing or not you provide some very good content for her to work with, which provides variation.
