Can’t get one. Every single one complains that my case has a lot involved, they’re too busy, can’t take on another case. I’ll talked to 12!! So I’m prepared, going in alone. I have a dollar amount that can’t be refuted on back pay alone.

Do you believe hiring an attorney the majority time is worth the 40+ percent they charge? My fear is hiring an attorney may end with less money in comparison to me settling alone because of the high fees every lawyer in CA tends to be charging. Secondly, if a settlement is not reached is it difficult to find an attorney willing to take the case or is there opportunity to try and settle/mediate a second time. Thank you, new to the channel and loving the videos.

Hi Vince, I’ve been binge watching all of your videos. Good stuff! I had the call today with one of my attorneys going over damages and my mediation brief for my upcoming mediation June 5th in a Workplace discrimination case against a county, hospital, and nursing agency. This is a multiple defendant mediation, and I have already missed about $250,000 in wages alone even with mitigated efforts. I had a substantial amount of evidence (emails, text messages, videos where I advised I was recording, witness statements, and even a psych diagnosis of PTSD related to the incident. I’m getting nervous as it gets closer, because I don’t know what to expect . Although it was explained today that damages include economic and non economic wages. I will find out once the brief is complete what my legal team is asking for as a final number. No real question here, just want to say thank you for your videos. I’m praying for a good outcome!

Thanks for the video Vince. I have to get all of the information about our lawsuit on Pacer...yep...that is how much my lawyer does not talk to us. It is May 9th and i saw on Pacer that both Defense and my Lawyer have agreed to ask the judge to stay his ruling on Summary Judgment until AFTER our scheduled Mediation on May 22. Here is the funny part! I have yet to be told that i have a scheduled Mediation!! I have a bad feeling here. Can you help me on this one? I think the defense and my Lawyer have already agreed in principal to something and are waiting to drop it in Mediation. Is this even a thing?

@Law Office of Vincent P. White I don't think it is anything like that...I think he wants to recoup his expenses and kick our lawsuit to the curb. It has been going on since 2019.

Hi Vince, I have mediation in 1 month and I recently had prep with my attorney. I asked him what are the top 3 pieces of evidence to both support and weaken my sexual harassment + retaliation case, but he said it was too early to tell. He said we would need to go through the discovery phase before he could know the best and most harmful evidence. He's willing to go through discovery and said I was in good hands. But, should I be worried? Thank you in advance!
