This is for the first time since me and my wife started exploring the UK pathway,that i have seen such a video,dealing with such a matter,fully.The reason is the presenter,she was kind,considerate,very elaborative,and understood the intellectual and also emotional needs of the prospective future IMGs.This video has already addressed many of our concerns,but they have given rise to new ones also,which i hope,will either be addressed in future,or maybe had already been done in other such videos on this channel. With UKMLA rolling out in 2024. I have one chance for PLAB in early 2023 (that's when I graduate and start internship ). Can I take PLAB during my house job (internship back home)? And apply for GMC in 2024 when my internship ends. Can't find any answers. Thanks.

Basic question. Does it mean internship in India (1 year after 4 years of MBBS) is equal to FY1 at UK. If so, does it then mean after Plab1 and 2 I enter at level FY2 at UK. Then I get Competency Certificate at FY2 and the register with GMC. In brief, I start at FY 2 at UK after India MBBS 4 years + India 1 year internship + Plab 1 + Plab 2. Please confirm. Thanks for this. New information on the gmc website says from 2023 there will be new exams for IMGs called the MLA, and PLAB will be no more. Any ideas on how to prepare for those up and coming steps?
I have recently joined my internship, I want to complete my plab 1&2 during my internship. Is it possible ?? Why because most of my friends told me that "If u complete plan 2 in internship , during visa they will ask , why did u took break during internship?" Is it true?
By taking PLAB 2 during your internship, it would be an unnecessary break unless you could manage the exam within your allocated annual leave/vacation.

No. The PLAB 1 passing mark is determined by the distribution curve. If everyone does well the passing score goes up, if everyone does bad, the passing score goes down. Out of 180, you can't even safely say you will pass if you score 130. It all depends on the examinees.
If someone have UK visa nd PR card(but not UK national right now ) then how many chances are there for a Foundation year 1 slot after graduation (from Pakistan) without internship from home country
If you have a right to work in the UK, there are chances. But no one say for sure what are the chances or you will get in for sure. Getting educated in abroad and starting seeing your first patient in the UK may make you go through a steep learning curve which you weren’t prepared for. I always suggest to have their internship finished and then apply for GMC registration. Your learning path is more easier and established then.
I m planning for foundation year 1 2020 .i will be able to get provisional registration at the end of this year inshallah but according to UKFP last date for application for FY1 2020 is 7th August 2019 It means I will miss 2020 opportunity??

It's not abolished. UKVI is still accepted, but from October 1 2019, if you used academic IELTS or OET to get your GMC registration it can be used for your Tier 2 visa application.

Done my internship over here and cleared Plab 1 and 2. So I will need to do the Foundation year 1 and 2 or I will directly Get to 2 years core training programme?
Hello, you can enter into medical training if you meet the person specifications, or you can applying for non training FY2/CT1/SHO/Trust grade posts initially and then apply for training.
