How to prepare for security at Newcastle International Airport 

I used it for the first time on July 20 when jetting off to Spain. I found it a million times better than doing it the other way around from Malaga where you still have to put everything in the plastic tray. I hate this part of the process. It's ironic that you have to put anything metal on the tray when you could end up in a room surrounded by it. Especially on the window and door. I wasn't rushing in a blind panic like my life depended in it to put everything back in my cabin bag like I was when I went to Rome last year. I just took off my belt and Apple Watch and put it back on when done. Easy and convenient allowing us more time to relax and more time to get to the departure gate.

Two months later and this video is out of date, back to the old ways 🤷‍♂️ no liquids over 100ml as other airports didn’t get machines fitted. Now NCL has to go back to the previous way. Unbelievable that in this day and age we suffer because others didn’t pull their fingers out. Excuses that floors wouldn’t take the weight of machines should have been thought about years ago and not become a reason we all suffer 🤬
