Early April is infamous for thick cloud cover in the Hamilton and Niagara Region. Hoping we have cloud-free skies on April 8th so everyone can enjoy the eclipse and get some wonderful photos and videos.
I got this on Amazon…K&F Concept ND100000 ND Camera Lens Filter,16.6-Stops Fixed Neutral Density Filter with 28 Multi-Layer Coatings Waterproof & Scratch Resistant (Nano-X Series)
I'm bringing my Nikon Z gear to the solar event. Nikon Z8, Z6ii, and Z7ii. Nikon Z 100-400 mm f/4.5-5.6 VR S, Nikon 400 mm f/4.5 VR S, 1.4x TC, Nikon 24-120 mm f/4 S, and Nikon 20 mm f/1.8 S. Kase Wolverine ND16 Solar Filters. Now hoping for clear skies.
Would a 2x t/c on a 300 f/4 PF be suitable for photographing the eclipse or is limiting to a 1.4x (or even a 1.7x) t/c a better idea for any particular reason?
