You don’t have to compete to do Muay Thai.
You don’t have to compete to ENJOY Muay Thai.
In fact, it’s a bit of a luxury to be able to afford the time it takes to compete.
A lot of sacrifice is required to be competitive.
This video isn’t meant to deter you from wanting to compete; It’s more about the expectations we have for those wanting to compete.
We want to prepare you for SUCCESS.
There is no cutting corners when it comes to competing.
Believe me- I made every mistake possible and it’s not fun being in there not feeling 100% about controlling the outcome.
But the more I competed and the better I wanted to be, the more it became apparent that there is no substitute for HARD WORK.
Fail to prepare, prepare to fail.
The feeling of fighting is ineffable. The highest highs and the lowest lows.
I believe fighting teaches you a lot about yourself, what you're capable of... or what you THINK you’re capable of!
