If the Mustard powder is fermented around 5 days in water, you will see most of the oil floating on the top which can be removed. I have tried it and it has worked. Thanks for sharing innovative things. 👍

In southern Indaia we called the yellow Mustard seeds as an auspicious one, moreover it is tendered in Yajna/Yaga/Homams. Moreover it produce very highest heat. It is very costly when compared to black Musturd seeds. This is for your information, thanking you.

I use a Nescafe bottle with a tight lid to ferment the mustard pwd. Shake it several times a day & by the 3rd day, we'll have a layer of oil on top. Use a ladle to scoop it out. Carry on with the agitation of the liquid until you see a clear solution on top. After 7 - 10 days, we can use it.
